However, it was acquired from an estate cleanout dealer here in New Jersey. It is old and looks to me like an Art Nouveau décor. No chips or cracks. There is a dimple(not sure what else call it) in the glass from when it was made. I took a close up photo so you can see what I mean. Also. I did my best to polish the silver overlay but I was not able to get all to shine up. There is still tarnish or some sort of dark discoloration over the silver overlay. I'm not sure if stronger polish will get it to come clean or not. Blue glass has some scratches and marks here and there. It is being sold"as is" as was found so please be sure you are ok with all before buying. I took photos from all sides so you can see exactly what you would receive as the winning bidder. That clear glass stopper has 2 flat chips. The bottle has light residue on some areas inside, also the gold gilding is worn off in some spots. No chips, no cracks, spout& sections glass edges real smooth. A couple lines in the handle area glass that are Not cracks, but strawlines from the cooling process. DESCRIPTION This is a very beautiful. Unique and old BOHEMIAN MOSER ART GLASS c. 1900 box. The box has fantastic blue glass with colorful enamel and apllied strawberry decoration. The bottom is unmarked. The box has a very exotic and exquisite feel to it. It measures 2 3/4" tall and 4" wide. The box is in good condition except for that the lid has tny chips inside and three tiny chips inside box. 0.10. This light blue or turquoise colored shaker has a surface with slanted wide ribs. It has a flat base and sides that rise to a ledge which continues into a threaded collar. It has a domed metal screw on lid with relatively large holes arranged in a five point star pattern. The shaker is of nice a smooth glass. With no breaks, cracks, chips, or repairs. There are a few small scratches on the base and few air bubbles in the glass. However, these are difficult to see and do not compromise the quality or beauty of the piece. The threaded collar has some soiling consistent with the rubbing of the metal against the glass when the cap in screwed on or off. The rim has a slight roughness which is original to the making of the piece. The lid is also in good condition having only a couple of relatively small dings. There is a small fold in the glass on the edge as shown that occurred during making and a tiny flea bite flake on the underneath as shown. The front piece is just an escutcheon shield shaped cover-at the time of manufacture I guess they could chose to either add a lock or cover the pre-cut out with a fake shield type escutcheon. Just think how long this little bushel basket has been around! At least 100 years? We certainly believe so. As the classic Northwood logo is present on the inside bottom of the piece. The prismatic colors that appear when light hits it are dominated by gold, but has some blues and pastels. This piece has definitely traveled, as it has the scars of its life to prove it. Light Blue Green Blown Glass Footed Cruet Ribbed Blown Glass Pontil Antique?
The color of this item is a bluish green light teal color. I would say it's a rich aqua. As far as I can tell. It's in really great condition. I'm not sure if it's mint, but if it's not, then it has to be close. It could use a cleaning. There are some spots on it that do not rub off with a fingernail, but they are minimal. It has small bubbles throughout with some larger bubbles sparsely scattered. It has 16 ribs that spiral around the body and up the neck. The handle is applied. It has some base wear, but I do not know how old this item is. The stopper is also hand blown. There is a pontil on the bottom of the piece. The footed base is not symmetrical, slightly asymmetrical. There are inclusions within the glass, silica I assume. Overall, it is a very elegant piece of glass. It stands 9 1/2" tall with the stopper ... morein place. And it is about 3 1/4" at its widest. It is very difficult to actually attribute where it was produced as this style of glassware was made in many different countries including Czechoslovakia, America, France etc. It has a beautiful finely detailed. Enamel floral& scroll design in dusky pinks, cobalt blues and on a sky blue ground. I would describe this mould blown glass vase colour as an opaque white. Which is over painted with quality raised enamels. The base is un-marked and show sign of age base wear scuffing. This would make a wonderful addition to any Victorian art glass collection. Vintage/ Antique Hand Blown Blue Glass Jug Milk/ Cream Polished Pontil C.1900 This is a beautiful handblown glass jug dating. In my opinion, from the late nineteenth century. It is of blue glass with a polished pontil mark and an applied handle- The blue is not that almost black dark cobalt, but a blue a bit lighter and greener in colour. Size: about 10.5 cm( just over 4 inches) high. Weight: 162 grammes Condition: no damage. heavy wear to the base. see the photographs. A beautiful late 19th Century Thomas Webb cameo glass vase. It has a blue ground with white cameo. The cameo is in the form of flowers and leaves in naturalistic form and this extends around the front half of the vase. To the reverse is a butterfly shown in close up in image 6 for you. This is a typical feature of Webb cameo. There are no makers marks which is correct for this type of piece. The foot rim has two rings of white overlay and the neck has been etched in cell format. Offers are invited for this beautiful pair of antique. Silver topped, wine decanters made around 1851 They are in very nice order. Some minor damage to the stoppers, almost as expected. Hallmarks are for Birmingham 1851. Makers mark is MH. I believe this is Henry Morton, date letter for 1851. The hand blown Bristol Blue and Bristol Green Glass is in superb order. No dings or cracks, pontil mark to base. The Silver work is gorgeous. With grapes and foliate design, the stoppers are in good order excepting damage as shown. One cork is decaying and one stopper has been dinged. The silver rims are in super condition barring a couple of dings as shown They would benefit from a little attention. The hardware and closure is of ornate embossed brass and in fine working order. The condition is good. Just a few things to mention. There is a tiny insignificant minute chip(less than 1/16th" Right by the upper brass fitting. By the way this is made it was most likely like that when put together. It is so tiny that only very close up can it be seen.I took a close up of the front in photo 1 so you can see it. There is a very tiny as bubble deep inside the glass that does not come to the surface at all but is mentioned strictly for accuracy. Antique Muran Venetian blue dragon glass ewer-needs restoring
Beautiful dragon handle vase. Unfortunately it is broken. All pieces are present and appears to be cleanly broken. All pieces are from the base. Victorian 1840-1900. Dragon has a pink tongue and dark eyes. No chips in dragon. The dark blue color vase is streaked with gold. Perhaps a professional restoration?
