This is a fabulous Victorian tin ceiling tile in a rectangular shape. Painted a very deep cream or light taupe color(old paint) This one measures 24-1/4" long x 12-1/4" wide. It's the perfect size and shape to hang on a wall with a vignette like the one shown above, which includes a peg rail and antique lacy clothing, hats, and purses. The color reads as a"shade of white" in a grouping with other shades of white and neutrals, although it's actually a creamy light taupe. Using his own formula he has made this tile to look like a copper& verdigris patina. It sits in a copper colored wooden frame. This tile was removed from a building in a small town in Western Kentucky prior to demolition of the building after it was irreparably damaged by a tornado. I have many these pieces. They measure one foot by two foot. They have the original paint on them. This auction is for one. But I would be happy to combine shipping on these! This tin has been salvaged. And is not in perfect shape. There may be small holes, or rust, but I am not selling anything in terrible shape. It is still sound, and not rusted through. It is very old! It comes from a building in Conway. Arkansas. Here is the story I was told: Its called the Halter Building at the south east corner of Oak and Front Street in Conway AR.
