We are pleased to offer this wonderful. Antique, Victorian, Art Nouveau era, ceiling tin. This beautiful tin features a rare design. The focal point is a nude nymph surrounded by grape clusters, leaves and vines. The grape vines provide for a semi sheathed dress. This gorgeous tile came from an old hotel in Salisbury, Missouri, which is north of St. Louis. The hotel was constructed in the 1880s and was one of the first businesses in the town. The ceiling tin is in very good condtion. It has been mounted on wood as a wall plaque. It has been protected from the elements and has very little rust. The old paint and antique varnish are still very nice and mostly intact. The color is a dark oatmeal or brownish tan. The relief on the tin is very deep and there is a lot of texture. Coat Rack made from 100 plus years old ceiling tin trim. Gorgeous raised design. The black hooks are also vintage and have been painted. This coat rack is 47" long x 7" high. Formed over a wood board. This rack is wall mountable. The best, most secure way to mount would be to drill a hole at each side and attach to wall with 2 1/4" or longer screw. Screw heads can easily be painted. Color is called Tuscan Red, available wherever craft paints are sold.
