Antique Ceiling Tins Tiles enough for 12' x 12' room 144 sq ft 18- 2' x 4' pcs
Offered for your consideration is this large lot of antique ceiling tin. There are 18 matching two foot by four foot pieces. 144 square feet. Enough to install in a 12' by 12' room. All 18 tins are in very good condition for used ceiling tin. The paint is VERY chippy and will come off fairly easily with a rotary wire brush. There are only a couple tile that have some very small holes(1/4" or smaller) PLEASE SEE PICTURES. Some of the corners are a little bent but easily flattened back down. I have included 4 pictures of the same ceiling tile installed. I do have an additional 18 matching tin tile available. Antique architectural ceiling tins salvage lot of around 140. About Came out of an old house that was converted to a restaurant in Melbourne. Fl. You won't find this many in a lot! All same pattern and most are chippy, need some cleaning but I will let the buyer do that. Most are one piece but I have additional ones where corners have been cut etc. That are included as well. Probably 20 of those see photos. They are 13.5" tall roughly and 9" wide. They have the holes to overlap on each side which is a nod to tongue and groove. Antique Ceiling Embossed Tins Tiles Multi-Color Painted - Set of 3 - 12-inch
Offered are 3 matching antique ceiling tiles. Fashioned of embossed tin with a beautiful pattern. Being sold individually, so your bid is for ONE tin. Each is a 12-inch square. Request a specific tile if you like, using the photos as a guide. All are in same condition as far as age-just the paint pattern varies. Nearly as beautiful is the chipped paint patina-which consist of yellow. Cream and green with rusty spots interspersed. Super neat for decorating- many ways to use them. These are in antique condition and not perfectly flat. However. They still hang nicely on a wall, as the bent areas are pretty small/minor. The tins all also have tiny holes for hanging with small nails. Questions welcome. Will combine shipping. Of course, if you buy more than one.

Late 1800's Authentic Ceiling Tins Architectural Salvage Sandblasted/Primed

We are located about one hour Northeast of the RDU International Airport. Please contact us for arranging pick up. We will be happy to work with you on retrieving these ceiling tins. Up for auction: Dating from the late 1800's. These tins have been salvaged from an old local building in Franklin County, North Carolina. We had them sandblasted and primed- all you have to do is install and do your final finish. We used what we needed as part of the restoration of our 1890 home and this surplus is now available. Just to give you an idea or a perspective of their size and use. These tins were individually removed and brought to a professional to sandblast any rust from the surface, chipped paint or debris. ... moreFrom there, they were all primed with auto-primer at a collision shop for complete coverage and to prevent future rusting. Knowing the tins were going to be painted in our home, I needed a barrier between the tins and the paint(it's best to use an oil base paint, otherwise, you risk rust build up) Here's a photo of the tins after we finished priming. Installing and painting them. They look absolutely gorgeous! Lots of uses for these tins! Picture of ceiling tins that we used in our home.
