Our church used to be a 1 room school house. It was added on over the years but when we remodeled we uncovered the original tin ceiling. We are asking $3000 for the lot of tiles and cornice pieces. Pair of Vintage Chinese Wall or Ceiling Panels (Set 1)
These are a really great pair of wood panels with an embossed. Hand painted dragon and phoenix. I came a cross a bunch of them with slightly different patterns that I am listing here on ebay. I am not sure if they are wall or ceiling panels. The dragon and phoenix are in gold in a circle with flowers in each corner. The entire painted portion is in a square in the center of the panel which is surrounded by off white. Some of the colors are vibrant or have been dulled by time and age related wear. The condition is fairly good but there are areas which have been rubbed or worn down/off, chipped, scraped or splintered, particularly around the edges as shown in the photos. Each panel measures approximately 18" square. The backs may show some slight water damage and may be ever so slightly warped as shown in the photos. We estimate their ... moreage to be mid 20th century. Other panels have designs with just dragons or just phoenixes. These are really unique and would make a great addition to your home decor.
