The largest hexagon box with 6 oval deeply beveled glass sides has wonderful beach scene entitled"PORNIC La Plage du Chateau" Lid is 4" x 3" and box is 2-3/4" tall. There is a spot of damage in blue sky over cathedral. Near the top of scene on this box, and also a couple very small nicks on beveled side edges, nothing significant. The smaller oval box has scene of"Le Havre- Hotel de Ville et Jardin public" Lid is 3" x 2-1/4" and box is 2" tall. All boxes have good hinges and open and close properly. The last canister I have added to go with the set. It is the same design but smaller 4.5 inch x 2 inch wide and has no name embossed but an area where you can add a label for sugar. Spices, etc. All 3 pces have their original Aluminum lid which have a few small dents but this only adds character to these great vintage pieces. There are air bubbles in the glass with no cracks seen only a few rough edges along the inside top edges of the larger coffee canister and the smaller canister. The tea canister has 2 very tiny superficial chips that i could only find by rubbing my hand along top of the edge.The lids fit well and hide these minor imperfections which you could expect in pieces of this age. DESCRIPTION: Antique late 19th Italian Grand Tour Micromosiac box. Top is micromosaic set into slate and the remainder of the box is gilt brass with some enamel decoration. Interior is red tufted silk. Measures a little over 4" across and 3" tall. Purchase price includes Free USA Shipping and very careful packing. CONDITION: Small chip in the rim of the slate ground to the micromosaic decoration at about the 5 o'clock position as shown in the pics. Back foot of the box slightly bent so the box sits slightly angled on the tabletop. But not enough to matter. Discoloration to the gilding on the brass portions of the box as shown. Up for sale is a Set of 4. Antique Cork Art Pictures. They are each 20.5" x 8" inches and are old. They have some imperfections and some of the cork has fallen in all pictures. On the back there was once a sticker or stamp that says"HAND PAINTED AND CARVED IN HONG KONG. This is still readable on one and has faded/fallen off the rest. There are also a few rips in the paper on the back of the pictures. There is wear to the frames and they need to be painted(touched up) They will look very good hung up together. Set of 4 handpainted place card holders. Made in Japan circa 1920-30's. Each place card holder is a little under 2 inches accross the bottom and a little over 1 inch at the highest point. The place card holders are wonderful Japanese design. A pair of semi-circles or arches. At right angles to each other. The top arch is hand-painted with a fabulous eye-catching design in variations of red and black with the cream ground as part of the design. One holder has a series of hearts; another roses in black and cream, a 3rd a pair of branches arch towards a bird- all in red and the last in both black and red, somewhat styalised florals. Imagine my heartache when I got this home from an estate sale.so excited as this was my best find of the day. Until one of my kids.Playing with the dog.knocked it off the table. I don't know anyone who can fix it.so Hopefully this will make someone else happy if they can fix it. It appears to be a broken weld near, and on the hinge to the lid. The lid can still sit on top and look pretty good, but it does need to be repaired to restore its strength and beauty back to a useful piece of beauty. the lady I bought it from says it is early 1900's. It is 7" across at the widest point and a little over 5" tall. I have placed rubber bands on it to retain its shape and prevent further damage. I will have this carefully packaged for travel. The weight will be a little higher as I may have to double box too.

Offered is a Black& White Lithograph that is dated 1901 Ullman Mfg New York of Four Rearing Horses. There is a frame around the horses that has a horsehead at the top inside a horseshoe and shafts or wheat on each side. There is also a Signature but I am not able to decipher it. This pictures is framed in a rustic frame that looks like barn siding. The outside dimensions of this picture including the frame is 18 1/2 inches x 17 inches and 2 1/2 inches deep. The picture is 15" x 12" There are some water spots under the glass on the litho. I have not attempted to remove it from this frame for closer examination. I am selling it as found. Antique pietra dura specimen marble candlestick 10 1/4" tall 1880's
Handsome pietra dura specimen marble candlestick 1880's. Classical design. Renaissance style. Varied specimens of marble running down central front panel. The condition is very good, there may have been a professional restoration at one point. I noticed a color variation to black stone at base. There is also a small area 1/4" below specimen marble panel, that appears it may have been filled in. Cosmetically and stability wise it all looks clean. Felt pad to bottom. I have owned this candlestick for many years and only upon examination for sale did I notice the possible restorations. Check photos. Thank you.
