Each drawer has the 1892 and 1894 patent date on them.The Library Bureau Sole Makers Company was in business from the early 1880s to about 1925.I guess the library in the 1890s had to be the only gateway to the world and the hands that were in these drawers.Very nice old patina and there are a few issues but not major and easily addressed and fixable with low expense.There is a piece along the right rear back panel which is not really visible from the front.A couple drawers have some cracks and one has a piece of the rear panel gone but every issue is repairable and I have not altered or repaired anything so you are dealing with the original item.No screws or glue added but it could use some skill to keep it original.There was tape used on the exterior over the years and those are the shadows you see in the photographs.The shadow of the ring on the top was put there by the original librarian so I had a place to put my coffee cup.It is a really cool piece and soundly built.Another 100 years is no problem with this guy. This wonderful early OAK picture or mirror frame measures 36" X 23 1/2" on the outside. The frame is 3/4" thick. 3 1/2" wide leaving an inner measurement of 29 1/2" X 16 1/2" The inner edge is beveled and it weighs 8 lbs. As seen in the picture it is strung to hang either verticle or horizontal. I believe it to be from the 1920's. It is just a great old frame. The front curved molding is about 1 ½ inch wide. The frame is about 3/4 inch deep. FRAME IS GOOD AND SOLID– NO WIGGLE. No spaces at the corners of the frame. The oak is tight-grained. The frame has the original finish on it. The frame is circa 1960’s– 1970’s. Contains a very sweet contemporary print of an old style scene– a little girl is trying to give a carrot to her dog. Who is not at all interested. The dog is furry– maybe part German Shepherd? The colors and the details of the print are better than my picture. The print is on cardboard. With the mat part of the cardboard– not a separate piece. May not be antique. But still a very charming ... morepicture. Weighs almost 2 pounds before any packing materials. ALL SALES FINAL. Elegant Antique/Vintage Large Ornate Carved Out Oak Picture Frame with Period Watercolor Painting This auction is for a truly beautiful antique/vintage oak picture frame ca 1890-1910. The carved out areas of the frame are framed themselves by solid boarders which gives this frame a rich aesthetic feel. The very inner portion of the frame has what I think is a thin gesso area which nicely compliments the larger areas of ornate carvings. The approximate outside dimensions are: 29 3/4" x 25 1/2" The approximate picture viewing area dimensions are: 19 1/2" x 15 1/2" The frame does have a few minor dings and a crack(upper right corner) Considering its age. It is in marvelous condition. The watercolor painting comes with the frame. It is signed by a Hazel Taylor of whom I am not familiar with. The watercolor is placed on top ... moreof what appears to be a blank canvas. The watercolor nicely depicts a classic perspective painting of a horse drawn carriage which is approaching a bridge that denotes its weight limit. Two Vintage All Oak Wood Frame with Slide Out Wood Backsides- Country Haus Collection. Theses frames measure 12-1/2 x 10-1/2 inches and approximately 3/4 inches in thickness. The opening measures 7-3/8 x 9-3/8 inches with the current picture opening measuring 6-1/2 x 4-1/2 inches. Both wooden backsides slide out easily. The two cat pictures are not included. Since they are there to add personality to the frames. Both frames come with an approximate 1/16 inch thick glass. The entire frame system weighs about 2 lbs. each. But does still have the original nails from when something was mounted in it. What makes this frame a little unusual is that it has extra wood trim at the bottom, like a molding piece at the bottom, it's also beveled on the inside, where the matting would be. The frame itself is in Good to Very Good Condition. ANTIQUE SOLID OAK FRAME. Tight grained. Contains a vintage colored poster from Holland-America Line– ss Statendam. Outer frame measurements are 19 ½ inches by just over 23 ½ inches. The frame is circa 1900. With the poster from the 1960’s, maybe earlier. DETAILS: The print is in pretty good condition. Not faded, A small wrinkle or two in the middle of the print. My pictures are not good– too much glare. There is some light brown discoloration on the lower white parts of the ship and on the back of the print. The light brown blends in pretty well. Especially when the print is behind glass– not really noticeable. The print is not matted but placed on a black background. Frame with the contents weighs just about 6 pounds. A few dark discolorations on the oak. The vintage print has glass and cardboard backing. Frame is good and solid–no ... morewiggle. One small space on the lower left corner. The frame measures 27 x 31 and the opening for the picture is 16 x 20" It is in very good condition and I didn't see any damage other than a little missing paint on the outter frame and you can see the oak underneath the paint. Beautiful antique victorian era picture frame. The frame is made of golden oak with gesso plaster cast details and gilt liner. The frame measures 25" X 29" X 4 1/2" The rabbet opening measures 16" X 20" Item Condition: The overall condition of the frame is very good for its age with no repaired areas or gesso losses. The gilt liner has stains and the gilding is cracked on one side as shown. The construction of the frame is solid with original eyehooks and metal hanging wire. The matte is a cool version of old album photo outlines. Covered with glass. Light signs of being in storage. But excellent. Shipping is calculated.

Up for auction is this pair of vintage oak picture frames. They each measure 10 3/4" wide and 12 3/4" tall. The frames were in my grandparents home in the mid 1960's. I am not really sure how old they are though.There is a glass pane in each. 5 lbs secure shipping weight. Inside the frames are 2 optional John O'Brian Victorian Lady Prints.
