There is a small plaque on the front that has the initials"H D" Between the letter there is also a tower/birdcage on stand. Not actually sure what it is. There is a black fabric bag stitched to the frame. When you push the buttons on either end of the decorative bar at the top of the purse. The purse pops open and is has a square shape. The only markings on the frame is the makers mark I mentioned above. The black fabric of the purse has a few spots where there are white paint drops. Also a small tear on the front side of this purse on the bottom left corner. Inside there is a lavendar silk lining that has 2 small pockets. The inside is in good condition. The strap is 14" long. ... moreIt also has some paint drops on the strap. It measures 6 1/2" across and 9 1/2" long without the strap. The purse is in fair condition. But we are guessing it is from the early 1880's. It looks to be signed with a name and the year 87 on the bottom right corner. It has a gorgeous Victorian carved floral design frame. The base of picture fr ame appears to be made of wood. And not sure what the top layer is made of. either uniquely carved wood or bakelite. It is intricately designed and lovely! This is an old picture that was hanging in our home when we purchased it. It is a lovely painting(I think it is on some type of fiber board not canvas) It is signed on the lower right corner B. Cope. The picture has come loose from the frame on the top and dirt has gotten between the glass and the picture. I will not take it apart to clean it because I am afraid I will ruin the painting. The frame is not damaged on the face. But on one back corner there is a spot that is so I took two pictures of what it looks like. Oliver Wendell Holmes. Sr. was an American physician born in 1809 in Cambridge Massachusetts and also was a poet, professor, lecturer, and author. He was one of the best writers of the 19th century. The very detailed etching is in an antique 13 x 19 frame with a newer acid free mat. The gesso frame has some rough edges and its back cover is in original vintage condition. The glass is the wavy antique type from this time period. But I didn't have the heart to remove this lady& her butterflies from their"home" The frame seems a bit long(approximately 20 1/4" x 10 1/4" for the picture, but if you look at the back of the frame it's obvious that they've been together for a long time. Sterling Silver .925 Picture Frame Signed Nice Repousse design NR
This is a very nice signed.925 stamped with other hallmarks picture frame with brown velvet back from a non smoking climate controlled home. Overall width is 2 1/2 and height measured is 3 5/8. The image view through the glass is 2 1/2 inches high x 1 1/2 inch wide. The last photo is an attempt to show the hallmarks. It is clearly marked 925 and has other hallmarks which I cannot identify. This is part of an ongoing downsizing, and ill be listing many other fine items as the weeks come. Questions welcome. UNIQUE VINTAGE SIGNED JAPANESE CHINOISERIE PICTURE WALL FRAME BIRDS 50"
UNBELIEVABLE FRAME! We are pleased to offer this EXCEPTIONAL. Vintage, GRAND, wall frame. The frame has a large, 9" wide, concave profile and features a lacquered or decoupaged finish. The frame features a scenic, birds and trees, motif which encompasses the entire face of the frame. The frame is signed both at the top and at the bottom corners. The colors are a golden brown/tan background with black accents. The sides, bottom and top of the frame are grooved with a black finish over golden brown/tan. The backing is black. The frame appears to be a composite material. It would make an incredible piece on its own, or to accent a nice art piece or mirror. There are no manufacturer's marks or stickers. The frame is in very good condition with only minor signs of age/use. There is a very tiny scuff area on the lower corner of the face, ... morenear the signed section(see picture 4) but it is not distracting. There are small crescent shaped holders on the back which would hold the artwork, and one of those is missing. The hanging brackets are in place. Overall, the frame is remarkable! The frame measures as follows: It is 50" tall and 40" wide at the exterior measurements. The concave face is 9" wide and the frame is 6" thick. The inner opening is 34.75" tall and 24.5" wide. Handcrafted period carved gilded frame with standard 16 1/4" by 20 1/4" rabbet. 20 1/2" by 24 1/2" outer dimensions, 2 1/2" width. Interesting corner carving with modernist feel, carved and pencil signed on reverse, dated 1941. Believe is metal leaf from tone of gold, but could be real gold, not sure. Heavily toned, but could probably be easily lightened if desired. Very good to excellent condition with only very minor finish blemishes from age.

The title is"Splurge of Beauty" This kind of picture is made from the finest artists cotton canvas acrylic. The frame is very unusual is made from rugged wood. The artist is Dorothy Sowinski. A known painter just pass away in South Bend, Indiana, on May of this year. I have seen a few pictures of the same artist and all has that style of rustic frames. Large Late 19th Century Victorian style Solid wood picture frame. the outside of the frame is is solid wood with a decorative gesso design center frame. The decorative gesso to the to the innermost section of the frame is decorated in gold Leaf. Although hard to see, im sure it can be cleaned up bring out the colors. 15 1/2 x 19 3/4 inside picture frame. The frame is 5 1/2 in wide. The picture inside the frame is a signed chronograph print by William henry Chandler. He was an artist who resided in North Jersey and commuted to New York daily. He was in business with his brother who was in charge of the administration side of the business. he also made some of the frames for chandlers Pieces. Offered is an exceptional 19 th century French gilt bronze easel back photograph frame in the gothic revival style. The finely made gilt bronze panel is mounted on a conforming ground covered in rich burgundy velvet. The metal mounts are beautifully made and finished. With a rich matte gold fire gilt surface, accented with applied details. I have done quite a bid of research to find a similar frame but have not had any luck! It is made of wood and has been silvered. It has also been enameled on the lower level with green paint and the roses and other foliage have been painted pink. Red and green. The latticework on top, bottom and both sides has also been painted green. The frame could be arts and crafts, or tramp art, and now may be considered shabby chic. The outside measurement of the frame is 11-1/2" x 14-1/2" The inside measurement, where the glass would rest, is 10" x 13" The back edge of the frame is covered in a velvet-like fabric and is medium brown in color. This and some other I will be listing are part of my mother's estate who had a huge house and used to have art work all over the place. It is oil on canvas as you can see the thread at the bottom of the frame in picture#5. The print is in very good condition. It is signed by Kalien or something like that and underneath is number 63 see picture# 7. I guess it was painted in 1963. The colors are magnificent. The pictures serve as part of the description. ANTIQUE BRASS DOUBLE PICTURE FRAME EACH FRAME MEASURES 7X 5.5 PICTURE SIZE IS 6x4. This a beautiful double picture frame. The design is quite detailed. An American style I believe it is from the early 1840's. There are markings on the backside bottom of both frames. A seasoned collector will know the significance of these markings. I would be happy to hear from anyone that may have some knowledge. The frames function well. The method for placing a picture inside suggests a early piece. This amazing piece is from the 40s- signed M. GULA Fabulous collectible piece of decor! It was taken out of an old decaying wood frame. And placed in the brass frame. This frame alone cost me $39. The brass frame is newer vintage. 1980s. The actual frame measures 11.5" top to bottom x 8.5" wide The inside frame measurement is 6 1/4" x 4 1/4" The frame has a bit of white on the backside.But is minimal.It's from the mold that the brass was made in.
