This is fresh from a local estate. It measures 3 1/2 inches at the longest point and is about 3 inches wide. There are a few places where some of the white micro mosaic pieces are missing. please examine all of the photos closely. These places are underneath and among the flowers.In hard to see places. This frame has the original glass and the original little brass holders on the back. The easel part is slightly bent, but still functions well.This is slightly dirty, but I did not want to clean it and risk having any of the mosaic pieces fall off. This is a beautiful piece. But does still have the original nails from when something was mounted in it. What makes this frame a little unusual is that it has extra wood trim at the bottom, like a molding piece at the bottom, it's also beveled on the inside, where the matting would be. The frame itself is in Good to Very Good Condition. It has the usual nicks in the wood that comes from age, but otherwise is solid; measurements are-inside 18” x 24” outside- 20” x 27” the width of the frame itself is 1 1/2" wide at the top and sides and 3" wide at the bottom. This is a nice large size. It takes a picture measuring 6 by 5 1/2. The frame itself is 9 1/2 to the top of the bow and 7 1/2 left to right. There is no glass. There is a small loop in the back that needs a hanging ring. There some metal or light bronze tabs on the back where the glass camp be fastened in place. No damage to the metalwork. A great piece. But they're really gilt cast iron. The frame would hold a rectangle shape photo or mirror. The color appears to be yellow or peach with and without the camera flash. However. I've asked 5 different people the color& have gotten 3 different answers. yellow, peach, or light/pale tan. The flowers beneath the glass front look purple. Blue, or indigo depending on the lighting. The flowers are the same color with different patterns. Approximately 1920s to 1940s Overall nice condition with natural wear and minimal paint loss. I have not and will not clean the frames.
