The Psalm of Communal Lament" We are very please to be able to ... moreoffer for your consideration this professionally tab mounted and framed 17th Century vellum of Psalm 44 The calligraphy on this vellum is hand penned. Our expert tells us it was most likely taken from a privately owned, and or, commissioned book of Psalms. We believe this because it is without illumination, and markings for musical notations. It is beautifully mounted on a fabric back board with corner tab mounts. The vellum is scribed in Latin, on both sides, or recto inverso. Shadows of the letters on the reverse side can be faintly seen through the text of the front. From the look of the font style, the peculiar punctuation, and the vellum used, our expert dates it to the 17th century. The passage is a portion of Psalm 44, or the Psalm of Communal Lament. According to our Latin translator it is verses 9 through 13. In these verses, the Psalmist laments that God has been slow to act, and has a responsibility to save these people from their enemies. The frame measures 23 1/8 inches wide. By 30 1/2 inches tall, by 1 5/8 inches deep. The frame is nice and deep, providing adequate space to accommodate the ripples in the vellum. The frame is finished in a dark brown stain, and is distressed. The back is covered in heavy brown paper with sealed edges. This piece weighs approximately 8 pounds. Condition- This framed antique framed vellum is in wonderful condition. There are no visible flaws that we can see. RARE 19th Century 11" x 8.5" Lemon Gold Leaf Gilded Gilt Picture Frame c. 1870
This is a very rare 19th century lemon gold picture frame with a black border. The rabbet measures approximately 11" x 8 1/2" and each side of this frame is 3 1/2" wide. This frame is very old. I would estimate it to be from the 1870s. The gold leaf paint shows spotting that is probably from oxidization or perhaps moisture. This is a two-piece frame and the black border could be removed. This is an extremely rare frame in good condition! Perfect for 19th century paintings! Shipping is $15 within the continental United States. No international shipping. Antique Arts& Crafts era picture frame doesn't have a single nail in it! It is all interlocked together. Will accommodate anything 8.5 x 11 inches. Total size of frame is approximately 14 x 17.5 inches. There are a few issues concerning a couple of the points on the outside pieces. Judging by the patina of the wood where they had broken off I'd say the oops happened a very long time ago. It in no way deters from the beauty of this frame. 11.75 x 9.75" frame on the outside and the picture opening is 8.5" x 6 5/8"a very old frame gorgeous spinning wheel on the corner as whelk as a copy of primitive picture by James Arthur 1908.as you can see the edges of e frame do have nicks etc. I do not feel that they Re anything that takes away from this old frame but rather it shows the age of this lovely frame. FABULOUS Jeweled photo frame antique vintage old Czech 5 " x 8" jewel ornate
This auction is for a FABULOUS early Czech glass frame. The frame itself is primarily brass. Has its original solid brass back with stand. The brass front almost has a hammered look. Great patina. All stones original and still there. Needs a cleaning. But I don't touch anything.leave it to you and how you like it. The frame measures 5 1/4 by 7 3/4. The inside photo part measures just shy of 4" wide and just shy of 6 1/2 inches tall. Gorgeous work in all 4 corners. Large 15" x 11.5" Ornate Sterling Silver Picture Frame w/ 8" x 10" Opening
This Sterling Silver picture frame is marked 925 on the bottom left hand corner. Since it is stamped from the inside. It shows in reverse as in the photo. I put paper on the glass to avoid the glare. The outside measurement of the frame is 15 by 11.5 inches and is decorated in relief with roses, leaves and filagree. The inside opening for the photo is 8 by 10 inches. The backing is covered in black velvet and it is new in the original box. The entire piece weights 2.5 pounds. But with the backing over wood and resin inside the silver it is difficult to estimate the silver weight. It is a very nice piece which I have not cleaned as I will leave it to the buyer to determine the level of patina that they desire. Great gift for a 25 year silver anniversary or birthday! VTG Antique Oval Bubble Convex Picture Frame Replacement Glass 11.5" x 8.5"
Up for bid is an old bubble glass for a picture frame. It is 11.5" by just under 8.5" It does have a scratch on the front. About an inch across, that is pictured above. However, the camera did not pic up on it very well. It's a whiteish color, about 2 inches up from the bottom, or top depending on how you set the frame. I did lower the price because of the scratch.

Graceful Morning Glories on Round Silver Metal Frame, 5 & 1/8" Aperture
This is an unusual round metal frame with lovely morning glories twining around it. It is completely unmarked and although it looks like silver plate. I am not sure about it. It is quite heavy. It is 7& 13/16" across and 5& 1/8" across the aperture for the photo or painting. It has no attachments for hanging. The rim inside the frame seems to have glue residue that has darkened on it. It is in very good condition with no dents or damage. There is tarnish on the back that will polish up.

Art Deco swing picture frame with silvered base side decoration 5 3/4" x 8 3/4" nice original mide size art deco swing swivel picture frame. Holds a picture that is 8 3/4" x 5 3/4" The wooden base steps up and creates a stage for your treasured photo on the pedestal. The side edges have a sky scraper image with deco flowers near the top. The frame itself has simple indented chevrons. Small nails in the back lod the picture into the glass. There are some minor scuffs on some of the edges. The back of the frame itself is black and the base is covered in green felt to protect your surfaces.

Originally we thought it to be a liner but the outside of it is too clean so it must in fact be an actual simple 3/8" grecian gold frame. Only minor touch ups needed- your framer should have Grecian Gold Rub-n-Buff as they'll need to cut the glass or mirror for you to fit this. A great little piece. Description This is a gold frame that is 6.5" x 8.5" that is probably made in Italy. The country side picture shows a shepard boy drinking water from the stream, while his sheep dog is watching over his sheep. There are a couple of gold flecks under the glass from the gold gilt. There is a fold able hook on the top. The back is lined with a red velvet material that is a little torn. But it doesn't show up anyway. I can not mail this item to a PO Box. OLD Victorian Ornate Gesso Small Picture Frame; 5 3/8" x 3 7/8" Opening; 2" Deep
This is a beautiful mini-sized Victorian gesso picture frame. It has lots of deeply detailed raised decorations around the inner edges. It is unusually deep for its small size. As you can see from looking at the back view. It is obviously an old original 19th century frame. The out dimensions of the frame are 9 1/2" by 8" wide. The inner opening is 5 7/8" by 4 3/8" with a 1/4" lip on the back side to hold the picture in place. The frame is 2" deep from front to back. It is in excellent condition. With no loose joints or missing chunks of wood. There are 2 small spots where the gesso has fallen off, but both have been repaired slightly and covered with gold paint, so they aren't very noticeable. I am willing to combine more than one item in a package to lower your shipping costs. As long as they can safely ... morebe shipped together. I will ship internationally.
