I'm not certain if these are silk screens or pith/rice paper, the backing is what appears to be some type of repeated stamp work on a thick paper, the border on the front is some type of silk brocade with gold weave through it. The frames appear to be wood painted gold with metal on all four corners, size is 18.5" by 35.5" very large for this type of painting.

26"x22" antique Victorian wood picture frame with gold gesso trim/wavy glass
This is an antique picture frame of oak with 2 sets of the gold gesso trim around it. Frame width is 3 1/2" Overall size is 22"x26" with glass size of 16"x19" Comes with the original wavy glass. There are a few small pieces of gesso missing but you have to really look to notice. Overall good condition and very nice frame. Thanks for looking!

LG ANTIQUE WALNUT FRAME 26+X31 OLD ENGRAVING OF 2 WELL-DRESSED VICTORIAN WOMEN
LARGE ANTIQUE DEEP WALNUT FRAME WITH BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE ENGRAVING OF TWO WOMEN– name on lower center is“PRES DES CASCADES– NEAR THE FALLS. Walnut frame and engraving are both circa 1860– 1880’s. Probably original to the frame. Old wavy glass and old wood backing. Both probably original to the frame. Two women are seated near waterfalls– each is wearing a fancy Victorian dress. Bonnets, and one is holding a parasol. Maybe Niagara Falls? Antique print has some all-over age discoloration. More noticeable on the margins than on the print. The discoloration does not detract from the print because it is hardly noticeable. Framed in an early Victorian walnut frame with original Victorian gold tone liner- both in original condition– a few discolorations on the gold tone liner– especially on the lower edge– see my pictures. The outer corners of the ... moreframe are tight– no wiggle. No spaces. Frame has old glass and wood backing. The lower right edge of the print is marked: ANNEDOUCHE SCULP. The lower left edge is marked: BROCHARD PINX The lower center has the title of the print PRES DES CASCADES– NEAR THE FALLS. In small print below the engraving is IMPRIME PAR ALFRED JARDON JEUNE 3 RUE RACINE PARIS. At the very bottom is AM WASSERFALL. I have added photos of the writing but it is very light. Frame outside edges measured from the back are 26 ½ inches by 31 ¾ inches. Frame& contents weigh about 12- 13 pounds before any packing materials. Opening size for the glass and contents is 21 ¾ inches by 27 inches. The frame measures over 2 inches from the side. ALL SALES FINAL. I am selling items that are over a hundred years old. Naturally there will be irregularities and flaws. Just because of the age. I will describe an item as best I can, and will try to picture any irregularities or missing parts, but ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BID! Antique Gold Gesso on Wood Picture Frame With Religious Cherub Painting 26 x 22
We've got a great antique picture frame with a religious print in it. However. It appears that there has been some water damage to the print, so I'm selling this as and for the frame. It's a wood frame, with a gesso lining, and the gesso is chipped and chipping in certain places(see pictures highlighting damage) The back is still in good shape, but will need to have the cardboard backing replaced most likely. It's glass fronted, and the glass is unbroken. It measures 26 1/2" x 22 1/2" on the outside dimensions. With 15 1/2" x 19 1/2" for the inside dimensions. If you have any questions. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN WALNUT FRAME WITH GOLD TONE LINER. ORIGINAL CONDITION. Frame is circa 1880’s– 1890’s. 26 ¼ inches by 33 ¼ inches. Frame contains a vintage print. The vintage print is circa 1950– 1960’s– of an afternoon tea party. With lots of people in elaborate outfits, and children and a dog very interested in the pastries. A fine print with lots of details to it– you can look at the print for a long time and feel as though you are in the midst of the tea party. Outer measurements of the frame are 26 ¼ inches by 33 ¼ inches. Size of the opening for the glass and contents is 21 inches by 28 ¼ inches. The walnut is about 2 inches deep measured from the side and the front. Including the gold tone liner, is about 3 inches. The walnut frame is in good condition– a few superficial“use” scratches and small“wear spots” ... moreon the front– not really visible. Finish is dark. Probably original– nice color– some light spots from camera glare. The gold tone liner is in good condition but has some age darkening spots all over– see photo. Corners of the frame are good– the frame is firm– there is a small space on the gold tone liner at the upper left corner. Print is good–not torn but with a little fading on lower right corner– see photo. There print measures a little less than the width of the frame but a narrow gold tone mat was added at the top and bottom edges. The frame has glass and cardboard backing. The frame and contents weigh about 12 pounds before any packing materials. ALL SALES FINAL. I am selling items that have some age to them. Naturally there will be irregularities and flaws. Large Antique Mid 19th C Silver Lemon Gold Gilt Portrait Frame 20 X 26 Opening
This is a large antique mid 19th century silver lemon gold gilt portrait frame. It dates circa 1850s to 1860s. Overall. It measures 24 1/8 inches x 30 1/8 inches(61.3 cm x 76.5 cm) The back opening size is 20 1/8 inches by 26 1/8 inches(51.1 cm x 66.4 cm) The molding width measures 2 1/2 inches(6.4 cm) This was a lemon gold gilt frame that had been painted over and was professionally stripped. It has a lot of loss to the old silver finish. The bottom piece of molding is missing much of its silver along the site edge. Which measures 15 1/2 inches x 3/4 inches(39.4 cm x 1.9 cm) please see photos) There are some dark stain-like marks along the lower part of the right side piece of long molding and other dark spots along the bottom short piece of molding. There are other light chips around the edges. But this is very common with these frames ... moreand it's difficult to point out each one. Overall. The marks tend to just blend in with the frame, as they are expected to show a lot of age. However, this frame has more marks than most. The frame has those wonderful old lines and dots found in these old gilded frames. You can even see some of the lines of gilding that were laid on the wood. It has its original old wavy and bubbled glass. And those great old square cut nails. It weighs 7 lbs. 3.17 kg) It would be great for an old oil painting. Drawing, folk art work, sampler, fraktur, silhouette, etc. It has what I always look for in frames. Antique Large VICTORIAN Walnut Heavy Picture Frame Civil War Era 1860s 22 x 26
Here is a very large. Quite heavy antique walnut picture frame, circa 1860s. It measures 29 x 33 ins. in total size, and the insert rabbet for your art or mirror is 22 3/16 x 26 3/16, a 22 x 26 item should fit fine in here. The molding is about 4 ins. wide and it is a deep well with painted black ebonized lines on the surround. The frame is in FAIR as is antique condition, with some minor scrapes, scratches, some inner gilt gesso chipped off the slip liner, some black ebonized lines wearing away, and some miter corner separations. It is fairly sturdy, but could be stabilized further by re-gluing. It has a bit of old whitish paint at one side back corenr, unseen from the front and coudl probably be cleaned off if it bothers you. Please be aware this frame is approx. 1t is about 150+ years old. So will not be perfect like a new repro one. Vintage HUGE MODERNISM Mid-Century Gold Heavy Pine Wood Frame 26 x 30 c.1940s
Here is a very large. Heavy custom/hand-made pine picture frame. It measures 33 x 36 ins. in total and 26 x 30 ins. insert rabbet size. This is painted gold( not gilded) with an old original red paint or bole undercoat. This frame used to house a late 1940s oil portrait. So I would date this to the same time period to very early 1950s time period. The frame has multiple pieces of wood nailed and glued together. And at the top right corner someone nailed some more in to secure it at some point in time.That has caused a surface crack in the wood from the top right corner and the downward piece of wood about 4 x 7 ins. That can be re-glued and fixed if it bothers you. Shown below. It is very sturdy. Heavy and solid. The molding is 4 1/2 ins. wide. ANTIQUE FRENCH BARBIZON STYLE FRAME & OLD WOOL NEEDLEPOINT ROSE BOUQUET 26"x19"
We are pleased to offer this extraordinary. Antique framed needlepoint. This lovely, French Barbizon style frame dates to the Victorian era. The frame is large and ornate, carved wood with an exceptionally deep profile. It consists of 3 sections of gilded, raised relief areas with black contrasting paint in between the gilded sections. It has a gorgeous, deep relief pattern of raised acanthus leaves, c" scrolls, and raised flowers. The frame houses a beautiful antique, wool needlepoint or petit point(under glass) of multicolored roses in a lovely bouquet. It is quite lovely and colorful and exquisitely accomplished. The entire frame is gilt wood with the black paint applied over the gilt wood. The black paint aged so that, in some areas, the gold is peeks through. I do not think the black paint is original and it appears to have been ... moreadded at some point. The frame has a unique, scalloped, black painted trim attached to the back so that it extends from the wall much like a shadowbox frame. The frame has a cloth backing. There is no visible mark and we have not removed the backing to check for a mark. The frame is in very good condition for its age. There are a couple of small cracks to the gilt finish. But they are minor. The black paint has peeled in some areas. The petit point is in very good condition with no frayed areas or rips, tears, etc. The frame measures 26" x 19.25" The exposed face of the petit point measures 14.25" x8" Measuring just inside the interior frame section. Bottom and sides. Under the bubble convex glass is an arrangement of silk, velvet pink roses on a gray satin background. The satin is wavy, but it appears to be the way it was made, but I am not certain of this. The frame measures approximately 25" X 15 1/2" If you do not like the original floral arrangement, it can easily be replaced with a photograph. The frame is in excellent condition, the metal has darkened with age. The metal attachments are not been or damaged. There is a wire hanger attached, so it is ready for your immediate enjoyment.
