This is an old vintage oval attractive wooden with a slight white wash over gold color picture frame. The opening is for a picture 18" x 22" and the frame is 23 1/2" x 27 1/2" For it's age the frame is in overall good shape but very close inspection shows a few hairline cracks. Mid 1800s Antique Walnut Ogee Picture Frame 14" x 18"
Antique solid walnut(not veneer) ogee picture frame from the mid 1800s. The frame fits an approx 14 1/4 x 18 1/8 inch print or painting. Its exterior dimensions are approx 17 1/4 x 18 1/8 inches and it is 1 3/8 inches high. This frame has a 1/2 inch lip instead of the 1/4 inch lip that most picture frames have. The frame has been restored. Including refinishing of the walnut, and is in very good condition. It has a few dings as typically seen on frames of this age. The dark areas on the left side of the frame are shallow gouges. The frame is being shipped without glass.

A Very Nice Vintage Picture Frame 18" X 22"
A nice vintage wooden frame. It is in good used condition with normal wear from age and use and the glass is in it as well. It is approx. 18" X 22" and the picture area is 16" X 20" I left the picture that came with in so as to get an idea of the size and viewing area. The top and four corners have a floral decoration, this would be a great frame for a family picture and I believe it is from around the1940's or maybe a bit earlier, I got it at an estate sale of an elderly woman. LARGE GOLD TONE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN WOOD FRAME WITH GESSO CARVING. 28 inches by 34 inches, measured from the outside. An impressive frame that needs very little restoration. Gold tone finish on the frame– probably not gold leaf– the finish may be original. Or if not, was redone many, many years ago. The finish seems almost a little dull– not the crispness you see with gold leaf. Frame is circa 1880– 1910’s. Details: Frame weighs about 9– 10 pounds before any packing materials. No glass. No backing. Frame only. A little gesso is missing and there are some cracks in the gesso at the corners of the frame. Some discolorations and dark spots on the gold tone finish. Corners don’t wiggle– frame seems tight. No loose pieces of carving. Two small spaces on corners of the very inside liner. Near where the contents would be– no wiggle at any of the corners, ... moreso the space is maybe from a little missing gesso. MEASUREMENTS: INSIDE OPENING measurements are just over 18 inches by 24 inches. Frame can be used horizontally or vertically. ALL SALES FINAL. Up for bids is what I personally think is a really nice antique oval picture frame. It measures 24 1/2" tall. And 18 1/2" wide. It is painted gold and has an Eagle on top with a ribbon that reads USA. On the bottom are a pair of Crossed Flags. Which leads me to believe this probably had some kind of military photo or reverse painting in it originally. Probably with a convex glass, possibly a family member from the civil war, or something of that kind. The inside dimensions are 18 3/4" X 12 3/4" while the dimensions where the glass and picture would have gone is 19 3/4" X 13 3/4" With a little TLC this would be an awesome piece.

The frame appears to be made of pine, it is in fair/good vintage condition with some common scrapes/wear to the finish from age. The insert for this for your art is 18 x 24 ins. The entire frame measures 21 3/4 x 27 1/2 ins.the rabbet is about 1/4 in. This originally had a 1940s portrait that I have sold, so I would date it to the 1940s, to very early 1950s time period. 11 x 18 Antique Gold Rectangular Carved Wood Picture Frame Ornate Vintage
This appears to be a carved wood frame with gold in the middle of the frame and it appears that there is also gold on the outside of the frame but it is darker maybe from dirt or wear. And it did not get it in the photos but each of the corners has a tiny nail. Some of the corners do have small cracks in them but it still feels sturdy and strong. This is true vintage and does show its age, It does have a groove in the back for the picture or art. I will be happy to answer any questions that you may have. or I'll try to. This is a Nice Vintage Needlepoint and Wood Picture Frame. Total size is 18.5"x18.5" It is about 2" thick(from front to back) and has a 1" depth(rabbet) I am not an expert on needlepoint.
