Antique peacock metal picture frame art deco early 1900s
This art deco picture frame comes from a Florida estate and is a gem. A real rare find! It measures about 5 inches across by 7 1/2 inches long, and it holds a picture that's about 3 inches by 4 1/2 inches. The peacock on the front is about 2 inches high. It appears to be made out of some kind of dark metal, and the only markings we can find is the number 8416 on the back. There are some nicks in the paint, although nothing major, just normal stuff from about 100 years of existence. I would say it is in very good condition. Please feel free to ask any questions. This lovely vintage hinged frame is in pristine condition. It features one 8 x 10 frame in the middle with two 8 x 4 side frames attached. The side frames come with their original 3 x 4 mats. I am sorry the pictures do not more clearly show the corner design with a sweet flowers hanging from pointed corner brackets. The cardboard backs look leatherette-like and having hanging hooks so that it can be set up on a table or hung on the wall. It comes with its glass also. It is a bright. This is a vintage Art Deco style picture frame. It measures 7 1/8 inches x 9 1/8 inches outside dimensions. And the opening on the glass for the picture measures 4 3/8 inches x 6 3/8 inches. The edges of the glass are reverse painted gold and black with an Art Deco geometric design, and the frame is gold metal. Condition very good, the paint on the glass is in excellent condition, the metal frame has some oxidation spots, and the back is missing the cardboard easel leg. Vintage Mexico Aluminum Metal Silver Picture Frame Ornate Art Deco Baroque
I am not sure of the age of this aluminum metal frame but it is in very sturdy condition and weighs almost one pound. It has a sticker on the back that reads"LYSSA. Made in Mexico, Alum Mod 200. I am not sure if it is solid aluminum or if it is made of mixed metal materials. It is missing its glass and I added a piece of black felt to show up its lovely design around the opening. Overall it measures 6 3/4 x 8 1/4 inches and has a 5 1/2 x 5 inch opening at the largest part of the opening. It has a hammered look to its finish, and is just absolutely gorgeous! MINIATURE ART DECO SILVERED METAL & GLASS TWO SIDED ROUND PICTURE FRAME
Up for auction is a fantastic Art Deco metal and glass round miniature picture frame. As can be seen in the last picture. The frame stands approximately 3 1/8" tall. The base measures approximately 2 3/4" X 1 1/2" The two round glass pieces measure approximately 2 1/2" across. The base is made of a silver color metal and is surprisingly heavy for its size. The two round glass pieces rest in a crescent shaped groove in the metal bass. Very minor chipping around the edges of the glass is present. This can be hidden by crescent groove. Images can be cut to size and sandwiched between the glass and can be viewed on either side. The pictures serve as part of the description so please look carefully.
