There are a few light surface scratches to the finish from general use, but it has been very well cared for, and is in amazing condition. I am unsure of the exact age or manufacture of the piece, but I do know that was originally contructed between 1870 and 1899. The sideboard has short reverse scroll feet with beautiful carving that runs up the side supports from the feet. The sideboard has carved accents on the front of the doors, at the outer edges of the large drawer, with matching carved details on the top mirrored frame and pillar supports.

We have for sale a Pair of Matching Antique Vintage Victorian Deep Walnut Carved Gold Gilt Picture Frames. First of all they are 17 ¾ inches by 15 ¾ inches(outside) 9 ¾ inches by 7 ¾ inches(image area) They are in very nice condition, but not perfect. They do have some rubs, minor nicks, and some discoloration in the gold areas. These were purchased at an estate sale. They do each have glass in them, with a wood backing, ready for you to add your favorite photo or painting. The outside frame itself is 4 inches in width and 3 ¾ inches thick. It is actually 3 frames together, the inner frame being the gold gilt. You have a nice 1 ½ inch black carved portion, setting off the two gold frames. LARGE ANTIQUE DEEP WALNUT FRAME WITH BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE ENGRAVING OF TWO WOMEN– name on lower center is“PRES DES CASCADES– NEAR THE FALLS. Walnut frame and engraving are both circa 1860– 1880’s. Probably original to the frame. Old wavy glass and old wood backing. Both probably original to the frame. Two women are seated near waterfalls– each is wearing a fancy Victorian dress. Bonnets, and one is holding a parasol. Maybe Niagara Falls? Antique print has some all-over age discoloration. More noticeable on the margins than on the print. The discoloration does not detract from the print because it is hardly noticeable. Framed in an early Victorian walnut frame with original Victorian gold tone liner- both in original condition– a few discolorations on the gold tone liner– especially on the lower edge– see my pictures. The outer corners of the ... moreframe are tight– no wiggle. No spaces. Frame has old glass and wood backing. The lower right edge of the print is marked: ANNEDOUCHE SCULP. The lower left edge is marked: BROCHARD PINX The lower center has the title of the print PRES DES CASCADES– NEAR THE FALLS. Antique Eastlake Victorian Black Forest Picture Frame; walnut, old surface
Up for bids we offer this antique. Black Forest, picture frame at no reserve. From the Victorian period, it's made of walnut with a grooved surface and cut and carved corner medalions. The wood still has its original shellac; we cleaned it up but otherwise it's unrestored. The inner frame still has its original plaster and gold leaf paint with only minor aging flaws. The frame's overall measurements are 9 1/2" by 7 3/8" and the opening is 6 1/2" by 4 1/4" It's well-built and still tight and sound. It's right out of an old home where it had been hidden away in the attic for decades. It's in very good, overall condition and is missing only a small pointed piece of one of the corner medalions which doesn't hurt its appearance. Antique French Fashion Engraving Print Eastlake Victorian Walnut Frame Berlin
Estate sale found antique circa 1880's French fashion engraving in a Eastlake Victorian walnut frame in very good condition. This print is marked at the bottom"PL. L Bureaux Encheplatz 4. Berlin" The engraving print looks hand colored and has no stains or blemishes. The solid walnut with gold frame is in good condition except for one small area of chipped off black japanning which is set over a white gesso base coat. This minor flaws are all shown up close in the photos. The frame has the original finish with a great patina and the glass is very nice. The back shows a one piece this piece of thin wood that I believe is original but has been put back with the original inside surface facing out as the oxidation color is not as dark as the rest of the bare wood. I say this because some layers of old magazine pages are seen under ... morethe wood panel that someone put in some years back to pad out the print to keep it flat and take up the space created by the wood shrinkage from age. Leaving a gap that isn't terribly noticeable but nonetheless there. Rubbing, soiling and staining to moudling resulting in loss of finish in a few rubbed spots. Moulding joint gaps a bit wider than normal. Frame liner partially loose, but that won't matter when it's hanging on the wall. All new hardware is installed, ready to hang. Old wavy glass present. Up for auction is an antique victorian Eastlake deep well picture frame. It is walnut wood and it looks like burl wood on the top part of the frame but I am not sure. I'm not a dealer but I know it is Eastlake. There is a frame of gold on the interior surrounded by 2 layers of walnut wood frame. Both walnut sections have intricate carvings of eastlake flower designs.typical of eastlake. This frame is a deeper frame than some others that I have. This is 3" deep. Although the front part of the frame is pretty good. The sides that are Black painted are rougher. 3 of the 4 sides have chipping of black paint. Looks like it was scraped on something. It can certainly be repainted black on the sides but I just never did. I bought the frame this way at an estate sale. This is a huge antique deep walnut picture frame in the Victorian eastlake style. It dates to the 1800s. I live in a small Maine town and this had been hanging in the old grange all these years. The frame itself measures 30 1/2" tall and 24 1/2" wide. It is 2 1/4" deep. It has the black painted lines around the inside of the frame and a very attractive gold border around the picture area. It is the original old glass. The picture size is 25 1/2" tall by 19 3/4" wide. It has the original Prayer print that was in it which is dated 1874. It says it is a emblematic prayer. It is all in very good condition. If you need a big frame or a large wall hanging this would do nicely.

The frame is in good sturdy condition with some loss on a leaves. The print has rich color. Overall, it is a nice, old piece. Antique Victorian Cross-Hatched Walnut Frame w/ Litho of Girl at Prayer 3 Button Walnut Frame A walnut cross-hatched frame with incised or chip carved grooves and lines in a Victorian Adirondack style. An inner frame of old gilt and porcelain buttons highlight the frame. Three of the 4 buttons are present. Frame measures 17" x 15" the criss-crossed frame displays an image 11 3/4" x 9 1/2" The lithographic print is mounted behind glass and is of a blond girl kneeling in prayer. What is really nice about the print is the interior of the room which has a lot of detail. The carpet is a bright design in what looks like latch-hook. The table is draped with what looks like a Kilim and there are ruffles. Fringes and tassels all over the place. Ve ry reflective of the style. The girl's face is illuminated with a sun beam and ... morethere is a robin outside the window. Except as noted. Both the frame and the print are in very good condition with a bit of ripple note to the print, but no creases and has not paper losses, tears or breaks. I can't tell if the glass is original or not. The print does have some fly specks on the exposed back side and there are some scraps of old tape along the edges in back that I have not attempted to remove but which would indicate that the frame was opened at some point.
