Large Antique Walnut Round Picture Frame- Neoclassical Sculpture Print- Circular
Available here is a beautiful round picture frame. I believe it is made of walnut. But could be mahogany. Regardless, the grain is wonderful. It is carved of solid wood, this is not veneer. It did not translate well in the photos. But there is a large lip that is carved around the frame. It is razed approximately 1.75" It is put together with four separate pieces that are dovetailed. The frame is very solid. It is in very good condition. I can find no issues. The outside diameter is approximately 22" and the inside diameter is approximately 18.5" It features a nice print of a neoclassical sculpture. The frame is very old. Probably dates to the early 1900's or late 1800's. I am not sure if the print is original, but it does have some age to it. I have also listed a matching frame with a similar frame. Fresh from the wall of an upstate New York Victorian home is this beautiful Victorian carved wood round mirror with gold gilt and patina. This is quite a lovely piece. I acquired this at sale of the estate. It was said to be late 19th century. Certainly no later than 1910. We are unsure of the age of the glass. The viewing surface has all the oxidation wear of a vintage old glass mirror. The back of the mirror is pristine. We are unsure if this is because this mirror hung undisturbed for a generation in the same spot or if the glass was replaced. The star of this sale is of course the carved wooden frame. It is in a round Ogee wood/plaster frame with a painted grain finish( common to this Era) This Manger Scene is covered by Convex glass and t he picture and glass are approximately 15 inches in diameter. The entire Picture measures approximately 21 inches in diameter including the frame. This Print is in Lovely condition and all colors are brilliant. The frame is sturdy but not without some wear as some of the painted grain finish has worn off in places. It is backed with cardboard and picture is held in by small nails. A gold piece of cording with a picture mold hanger was attached at sometime to the back of the frame by two small eye hooks. This is a fine example of Religious Art especially for it's age. The frame measures 22 1/2" across and with 19 1/4" opening. The Frame itself is 1 1/2" wide with ornate art deco carvings. No glass and will need a hanger or wire installed for you application. Nice antique oval frame with glass measuring approximately 18"x12. Not sure when it was made but looks a lot like others I've seen from the 1930's or the 1940's at the latest. Purchased at an estate sale with a painted"photograph" inside of a young man. However the photo was removed(had become discolored with age. Beautiful flower design on the corners of the frame, which is made of wood and enamel. The front of the frame looks great for its age, still good color and definition in the design and no defects. The back side has a few stains on the cardboard and some rustiness to the metal hanger and nails, which can be expected with an antique frame and would be fairly easy to update. Shown is a beautiful PAIR of ANTIQUE ROUND PICTURE FRAMES w/GESSO DECORATION. Subject matter(probably of minor importance) is Cupid asleep and Cupid awake. I believe the frames are of oak with a square mounting box on the backside. Diameter of frames is 10 3/8" Diameter of picture showing is 5 5/8" It would take a picture of 6 1/8" square in the backside box. Both are glazed. The unusual gesso work(beaded fine line around) is in extraordinarily fine condition. The one on the left has a 1/4" piece of gesso missing. The one on the right has a 3/4" and a 1/4" piece missing. This is not bad at all. In fact, very good for gesso condition! The wood of the frames is simply A-1! No damage to report whatsoever! Just a wonderful antique pair! Thanks for looking.

It measures 2 1/8 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches tall(5.4 cm x 6.4 cm) It will fit a picture with a 2 inch diameter(5.1 cm) It's a small but very beautiful frame. There's a ribbon. Here is a pair of Antique Silhouette Pictures in Round Wood Frames. The man is in very good condition. No cracks in the wood or chips in the glass. There are a few tiny bubbles in glass. The silhouette appears to be made from material. Not paper. There is a tiny ding in the material in his head area. On the back there is writing. It is hard to make out what was written. I can see the dates 1780 to 1825. May have the word Birth and a name? Interesting! The woman has damage to the frame as you can see in the pictures. There is writing on the back of her frame as well. But all I can make out is the date 1823. The pictures are 5" in diameter. Frames may be cherry wood? There is a brass ring attached to frame to hang them with. Large Antique Ornate Wood Gesso Round Frame with Domed- Curved Hand Blown Glass. The carved wood and intricately sculpted gesso has age related fractures all over it but is structurally sound. The hand blown convex-curved glass has some teeny tiny bubbles in it under the lupe inspection with NO cracks or damages. The large frame has a 24 1/4" wide diameter with a 17 1/2" face diameter. The frame comes with an old colored lithograph print and the hanging chain looks original with the frame. I have tried to take different pictures at multiple angles. So please use all the pictures as a major part of its description. The old frame is very decorative as is or gets even better with a professional restoration with gilding.

Up for auction is a lovely silver-plate 6" round self standing picture frame with an unusual convex plastic sepia photo of an infant recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. We put it at turn of C. The back is stamped quite small. Columbia Medallion Studios, Chicago. There is pithing to the back, some scratches to and dirt on the plastic photo and the frame is tarnished. Ornate Antique round Victorian beviled mirror, cast Iron, aged gild
Vintage metal frame beviled mirror in a Victorian style which is beautiful in design. The frame is gilded in color in a round shape. Classical design with curves and intricate works which artists of the highest order can produce. The frame has 4 clip for holding the mirror in place. The frame measures approx 16 1/4" from the top to the bottom and approx 12 1/2" from side to side. The mirror measures approx 7 1/4" diameter. There is some wear of the paint which is uniform in its wear. There is a marking on the back of the frame which is hard to decipher. There is a single leg on the back that holds the frame in a prone position.There is a round metal plate on the back that holds the mirror in place. There is very little noticeable wear on the glass.
