1930's Antique gold gilt metal / brass FILIGREE VANITY PICTURE FRAME Ornate
Old frame. Has some dark areas of patina from normal age and use. I cleaned it a little with soap and soft brush but dark areas. the gold gilding. Very ornate pierced detail filigree with five petal flowers set on each of the curved"ruffles" The previous owner told me this was her Mom's and it originally had matching perfume bottles so this was from a set. I only have the frame. Dark burgundy velvety fabric on the back and it can either stand or be hung on a wall as it has two rings for attaching a picture wire. 12-1/4" high. 10" across the outer measurement, and the photograph size would be for a standard 8" by 10" I tried to slip the back board in with some white tissue paper behind the glass to show the frame best but the paper slid up because it was too thick. That is why you see only a strip of black ... morealong the bottom. The reverse of the velvet backing is black. Guaranteed to be as described though not sold on approval. As is. Victorian Ornate Metal Gold Mantel Picture Frame This elegant frame dates from the 19th or early 20th century. On the back toward the top are the numbers 8724 845. On the bottom of the back on one side it looks like PAT with something I can’t read. On the right side it looks like the date: 12/19/94. Which I am guessing would be 1894. Look at the pictures closely; maybe you can enlighten me if you can make out more. It stands 12 inches tall and is approximately 7 1/8 inches wide. It holds a picture 4 1/4 inches wide by 6 1/4 inches tall. It is made of heavy iron and has a beautiful gold colored finish. It has 3 metal picture holders to hold a picture in but is missing the glass. There are no breaks or repairs.

Lovely large gold colored cast metal antique convex or bubble glass picture frame with antique wedding photo. Measures 16 1/4" x 25 1/2" Likely dates from the early 1900's. Condition: The frame has 3 breaks that could use soldering but not really necessary. see photos. You would never notice them passing by on a bicycle. As my grandmother used to say. Also some wear to the finish and some surface scratches here and there. The frame could use a cleaning as well. There is a tiny piece of paper on the inside of the frame that landed on the man's face in several of the photos. No big deal. Otherwise, very nice and totally usable frame even just as it is.
