For sale: A Antique Victorian 800 Silver Hallmarked Cherub Angel Double Picture Frame. The piece is small measuring just about 4 1/16 inches wide by 3 3/4 inches tall. It is made to hold 2 photos. The opening for the pictures is about 1 3/4 by 1 3/8 inches. The back of the one leg is marked with hallmarks and 800. There is natural tarnish to the silver and old tape scuffs to the old paper insert of the frame insides. The back has 3 tiny screws to hold the back on. The little screw caps are missing but it stays on fine. Really a beautiful piece with fine detail. Thanks Meg

Antique Gesso Double Frame Aesthetic Flowers Acanthus Leaves Gold and Copper
This is a gorgeous old double frame! Has lots of wonderful thick and raised gesso designs! Floral and acanthus leaves in gilded copper on the outer frame. Vines and tree branch in gilded gold on the inner frame. Outer frame measures 3" wide. 19" across, 21" long. Inner frame is 2" wide. 14" across, 16" long. Opening is 10 1/2" across. 12 1/4" long. Inner frame needs to be reattached to outer frame in some places. Outer frame is gapping at the corners. Very little gesso is missing. Just on the corners of the large frame. Measures 32" Tall and is x 27 3/4" wide. opening in the back for your picture. Print, etc. is 16" wide by 20" tall. This beautiful frame is in four layers of oak and gorgeous gold gesso measuring a bit over 5" wide all around. Great condition with one small spot about 3/4" of gold flecked off on bottom right hand corner can see in pic, could be touched up easily. Not distracting at all, This is in very good condition for most that Ive seen in this size. Glass is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. Antique Vintage Material Padded Double Picture Frame This piece is extremely unique. I have not seen another one like it. The outside is padded with a delicate design. I took the pictures out and noticed behind the pictures is a padded felt backing. The pictures in the frame look like late 1800's- early 1900's. The back right side of the padded frame has a small area that is not frayed but worn. I do not think it takes away from the uniqueness of the item. The front of the frame is in fine condition. The openings in the back are each approx 6"X8" Carved on top of the left frame is the name Preston W. Carved on top of the right frame is the name Mina B. In the lower middle are the initials JW and the year of 1908! This item came from a Macon County Amish family which relocated before I could obtain the origin and family history behind the names. You are bidding on this most spectacular ornate DOUBLE metal picture frame purchased from a very large local estate years ago. It measures right under 16 inches wide and is 9 1/2 inches tall. Antique Victorian Era Eastlake Double Frame Gesso With Gilt This Antique Double Frame features a rather ornate Gold Gesso outer frame. Within that frame sets another frame in gesso with gold gilt. That is beveled in design. The outer frame appears to be in pretty good condition, free from cracks, etc.but does have an aged patina to the gilt. Old picture frame. Measuring inside holes approx. 8 1/2" X 6 3/4" It's really nicely made, I believe from cigar box wood. Only problem is someone decided to cut-off two of the"arms" See the pictures and how the frame has arms on three sides, but not the fourth. I've tried to take pictures to detail. This swivel frame holds two 4" X 6" photographs(or mats) Each frame has an overall measurement of 4 3/4" X 6 3/4" The inset is for a 4" X 6" piece. The double frame piece is 10 3/4" X 9 3/4" It has an ornate capital at the top and a textured surface which has worn a little with time. The felt on the base is worn. The cardboard and staples in the back of these pictures were added at a later time. I did not examine the pictures of the roses. There were vintage pictures of this kind.
