This lovely Art Glass Vase measures approximately 8" tall. It features Pink to dark Pink. Black and White in Crystal, with a few spots of green& yellow, in a Spatter Swirl pattern. The Vase has a decorative 3 ribbed middle and a artistically slanted ruffled rim. I'm not sure of the maker-I've have seen similar vases that are called Antique French Legras. Also Czech. There are no identifying marks or paper stickers. This vase came from an estate where the previous owners were in their 90's. The vase has a small area where it feels a bit rough and there are some what I believe are"in the making" flaws. Victorian white opaline glass single stem EPERGNE base with uranium glass edging
On offer to tempt you today I have a Victorian era white opaline glass epergne base. Possibly of French origin The frilled edge has an applied line of uranium green glass that glows under black light. The stem and foot are hollow to accommodate a single flute and you can feel where the edges have been ground much as you would find in a decanter neck. In very good condition for it's age. No chips or cracks. There are one or two light surface scratches from use and a wear pattern to the base commensurate with age along with the odd air bubble due to the manufacturing process. Antique Victorian novelty white opaline glass soap box, milk opaque scrolls leaf
This Antique. Victorian era, novelty opaline glass soap box dated to mid 1800' It is a hand blown into mold piece with polished pontil at the bottom; embellished with scrolls and leaf design in relief. Very decorative. I believe it is a soap box as it has raised ridges inside bottom. The box measures 5" x 4" stands 3 1/2" high to the top of the most charming finial. It is in very good to excellent condition, without chips or cracks. There is a rough spot on inside edge of the bowl, but no chips. Roughness is a characteristic of that period glass production. Antique, green glass decanter with white decoration, victorian?
Vintage/antique? Victorian? Green glass decanter with white and gold coloured decoration. No chips or cracks and overall the condition is good although could use a clean which i am reluctant to do as last thing i cleaned i dropped and broke! Gilding is worn through age and use and you can see the bubbles from when it was fired/made. Decanter is 7" tall and 9" with stopper. Which is ground and fits well.

Antique Ruby Red& White Victorian Glass Mantle Lusters Hand Painted Gilt Large Prisms. WOW! A very large tall pair of mantle lusters- in a cased glass of white interior& ruby red exterior with hand painted flowers. Top scalloped edge is beveled with gold trim. Wonderful raised white enamel painted flowers highlight the piece. There are several really nice cut glass prisms in two styles. Huge size at 15 1/4" tall x 7 1/8" top diameter and the prisms are each approximately 7 1/4" length. Overall Very Good Condition- wear to the gold& paint all over and has a few slight small chips on the bottom edge. A Victorian Antique Rare Nailsea White/Red Pull Up Loop Glass Decanter
A rare mid 19th century antique Nailsea small decanter. It has'pulled up' loop decoration in red and white over a clear ground. Single coloured loop examples are scarce but these double colour looped decanters are very rare. It comes with its stopper which is quite a poor fit but certainly original(the stoppers for these items were free blown rather than ground in hence the shaky fit) At this size the decanter would best suit spirits or liqueurs but could also make a large scent bottle if you preferred. It holds well under a standard bottle of wine. Nailsea was a major glass making center during the late 18th century and throughout the 19th century. Although much of the production was of bottles and other everyday items other more interesting pieces were produced. Of which loop decorated items are a distinctive feature. Keystone ware white Opaque, Victorian Vanity Powder or Dresser Box
Up for your consideration is a gorgeous powder or dresser box. It stands 3 1/4" high with the lid on and 4" in diameter at the widest point. Some very small chips on inside lid& lip which could be buffed down if so desired. They do not detract from the piece. Although it does not have the red mark usually stamped on Keystone Ware it has all the unique details that I have found for other listed comparable pieces of Keystone Ware including the mold numbers. This has 697 on the inside of the lid. The Keystone company was making items similar to their competitor Wave Crest Circa late 1800s. The items were hand painted with lots of detail and molded patterns. There is wear to the paint which I have done my best to show in the pictures. The color of this lustre is is very brilliant due to the white layer of glass under the cobalt and it glows an intense deep blue. The long full cut prisms are original to the piece and are in very good condition. I looked them over carefully but found only a very few tiny chips. There is much wear to the gold trim but this is common on articles of this age. The little hand painted floral medalions are in good shape. Here is a very pretty and elegant blown glass peach that I think might date to the Victorian era. I am not an expert on Peachblow glass. But that is what it reminds me of. It is glossy and shades from white to pink on the side. There is a little bit of old paint at the base of the stem. It measures about 4 1/8" tall. I am not sure it this was originally fruit bowl item or because of the shape of the stem it could be an ornament. There looks or feels like a little minor chip or nick at the very tip of the stem. What a sweet little piece of Victorian era Art Glass! This pretty blue glass hinged TRINKET or jewelry BOX is decorated on its lid with a hand painted enamel. Fully open W hite Rose. Beautiful Victorian Bohemian White Frosted Glass Lustre Floral Gilding, Droplets
Welcome to my listing of a superb Victorian White Frosted Glass Lustre Candlestick heavily decorated with floral gilding. A row of 8 droplets is suspended from the bowl. I have included photographs both inside and outside the house. It is the m ost gorgeous shape(one of the most attractive I have seen) and made of really beautiful white frosted hand blown glass. It is adorned with gorgeous gilded floral garlands around the bowl and the base. There are 8 arrow-headed and faceted cut glass droplets or prisms on the Lustre suspended by a button. The Lustre stands 1 0 1/4" 25.5cm high and is 5" or 15.2 cm at its widest. There may be one or two minor nicks to the droplets. There is some slight rubbing to the gilding around the base. A Pair of Victorian Art Glass Classical Shape Pedestal Vases in Pink/White
8511 Victorian Pink Glass Vases Description A pair of Victorian art glass vases dating to the late 19th century. They are end-of-day style but the design would appear intentional in this case. The bodies are in pink and white streaked glass and they have applied pincer work handles in clear glass. These vases are of good quality manufacture and very much in the classical style. There are no makers marks to help identify them. But they are perhaps Bohemian. Some sources suggest these items may be Moser, however I have not seen good evidence for this. Interesting pieces with a great look and good style. Condition Minor rim chips and a chip to the pincer work of one handle. They present very well as can be seen in the images. Victorian Opaque White Milk Glass Top Hat Match Holder& Striker C.1900 This is a very attractive piece of Victorian Milk Glass- a match holder and striker shaped as a top hat- a superb shape. And quite finely moulded. The surface is acid etched matt. There was obviously some enamelled motto or decoration on the brim once, but this has mostly worn off and only slight traces remain. I'd date it to between about 1880 and 1910 Size: about 2 1/8 inches( 5.3 cm) high Weight: 137 grammes Condition- good- one tiny chip on base- and the enamelling has worn off the brim- see the photographs for exact condition. Victorian Spirit Decanter& 4 Glasses: Gilded& White Enamel C.1890 Rough Pontil This is a beautiful small decanter and glasses- hand made. Quite lightly blown and decorated with enamels and gilding. All pieces in the set have unpolished pontil marks on the bases. The decanter stopper is original- it is vertically fluted and has an interesting pattern of controled bubbles inside. Enamelled glass of this type was made and imported into the UK from Bohemia and America in quite some quantity at the end of the nineteenth century, but it is unusual to find a set so complete as the pieces are quite fragile. Size: Decanter 24.5 cm high( 9 3/4 inches) glasses 9.5 cm high( about 3 3/4 inches) Weight: approx 417 grammes Condition: good- no chips or cracks. Superb Victorian Nailsea Cranberry and White Herringbone Glass Flask c.1860
An superb Victorian Cranberry and White Nailsea Glass Flask. Dating from c.1860. These flasks are known as Nailsea due to their manufacture in Bristol, UK by the major glassmakers in that area. Nailsea glass is characterised by the use of different colours and the decoration of the herringbones in the different colours is really very typical of the area. The flask has all the features of good Victorian Nailsea decorative pieces. With the broken pontil at the bottom and the glass being hand blown. These are called flasks. However in actual fact they were also used and made as wallpockets- they would have sat in a metal frame on the wall for flowers, hence this does not have a stopper. A great item in superb condition. No damage or restoration what so ever. One minor manufacturing flaw in the neck which is a small rough patch(impurity) in the ... moreglass- these are normal in Nailsea pieces. Measurements are 8 inches long approx. Nailsea Glass originated from England in the mid 1800’s. The inception came from the heavy tax burden placed on the glass factories that were creating Flint glass. So instead of paying the high taxes. The glass companies began producing pieces from window glass, which wasn’t taxed by the government. The apprentices that worked in the glass factories made them as after-thoughts. And many different companies manufactured the glass. Yet, due to the Nailsea Crown Glass Company having a reputation for high quality products, the style of this glass received its name. These pieces were usually made into homemade items like vases. Bowls, flasks, wallpockets or mugs. In order to sell these products to the general public, they had to make them more appealing for the homemaker. The apprentice glassmakers knew they had to add decorative touches, so Nailsea Glass pieces are typically made from white glass or window glass that looks green with specs of white or color. Up for auction this wonderful Victorian Cranberry Glass Footed Bowl. With"Candy Stripe" decoration in white spiralled glass, dating from c.1860. The bowl has a superb deep cranberry colour and is hand blown, standing on a hand tooled foot. The bowl is decorated with a really pretty white spiral, where a line of glass is literally wound round the piece- taking a lot of skill to do this! Nice broken pontil to the base A really lovely looking item and quite rare with the spiralling. The bowl is in superb condition with no chips. Cracks or restoration. One of the little feet is slightly shorter than the others, this is not damage but is from manufacture- as its hand done the sizes are not totally consistent, and the smaller foot is smooth etc. This is barely noticable(we have shown a photo but to be honest you will do well to notice ... morewhich one! The outside surfaces and base are pressed ridge moulded which might enable match striking on textured surface of side or base Size: 3 1/4 inches long from beak to tail x 1 1/2 inches wide across hollow body between wings x 2 1/2 inches tall from top of head to base. Condition: Overall excellent. No damage. There are 2 small original fire kiln cracks in the base which could at first glance look like cracks. These are NOT a crack but a natural kiln firing rift in the glass in manufacture when the glass was molten and poured into the press mould. With your fingernail you can feel the rift on the inside base of the glass. Victorian Epergne Hanging Basket Green Vaseline white & Clear Glass
Great Vaseline epergne Measures about 22" high Wonderful color with white opalescant edges. Condition: one of the baskets is cracked. It goes from the handle down and 1/2 way around the basket. It's quite obvious they all match and this is not a made up piece like some you see. I will double box it so the box will be on the bigger side and shipping may be a bit high. A Victorian hand blown cranberry glass cream jug and sugar bowl. With applied white enamelled glass trailwork. Standing on hand tooled clear glass shell design feet. Both item's have rough pontil scars. Circa 1880-90's Dimensions; Jug: Height 115 mm Diameter across the feet 65 mm Width including the handle 98 mm Sugar bowl: Height 87 mm Diameter across the feet 71 mm Diameter of the top 150 mm Small flaw on the lip of the cream jug and on the edge of one of the feet. These are bubbles from it's original construction. Not chips. Otherwise in good original condition.

Antique Victorian Mary Gregory Cruet & Tumbler Set, Hand Painted Bohemian White
This listing is for an Antique. Victorian Mary Gregory Cruet and Tumbler Set. The pieces have a wonderful Mary Gregory hand painted portrait of a girl in white with flesh toned face and arms with white backgrounds. The painting is amazingly high quality with white on white which can be felt and seen. The glass is blown with a polished base on the tumbler and a pontil scar on the cruet. The cruet handle is applied. The stopper is original with the cruet neck and stopper bottom ground to fit each other. Both pieces have a paneled optic design which is almost exclusively pre-war. There are no maker or designer marks. Both pieces have a nice glow under UV light. They are likely Bohemian dating to the late 1800's or early 1900's and were original part of a set including a pitcher with a mother and another tumbler with a young boy. The ... morecruet measures 4 5/8" high without the stopper. 6 3/8" with the stopper and 3" in diameter at the center. The tumbler measures 3 3/4" high and 2 5/8" in diameter at the rim. Combined the set weighs 11.1 oz. The tumbler has two small chips on the rim. The cruet neck and stopper bottom have etching from forming and contact as would be expected. The cruet handle top has a small chip on the bottom right tab which applies it to the body. The side of the cruet has a small spider like crack on the side as seen in the photos. The balance of both pieces are free of chips. Cracks, fleabites and repairs. The artwork is in superb condition with no notable marks or nicks. The feet have light wear. The pontil scar on the cruet has some black markings. There are no signs of use on the interior or heavy mineral deposits. Despite the damage. They are beautiful original pieces and will make wonderful addition to a Victorian Enameled Glass or Mary Gregory collection. Shipping. Antique Victorian Cranberry Glass White Thumbprint and Silver Pickle Castor Jar
Selling some cranberry glass for my grandmother. I will answer questions to the best of my ability. However antiques are not my usual sales. This is a cranberry glass pickle castor. With a white thumbprint/coin print pattern over the glass. There is a silverplate base/frame, pair of tongs, and silverplate lid with an eagle on top of it. The silver is very detailed. There are some minor blemishes on the top rim of the glass. Probably due to being however old this is(I'm guessing it was made sometime between 1850-1910. I photographed the top to show these imperfections. Condition: Excellent. Apart from minor blemishes on top rim of glass and other signs of age.
