This case dates to 1875. The case is beautifully hand engraved over pretty much the entirety of its surface. This engraving is quite intricate and very skillfully done. One side of the case has an oval cartouche which has a monogram of'JS' in elegant script. This piece is hallmarked on the lip with the lion passant for sterling silver. The anchor for the city of Birmingham, the date letter A for 1875, Queen Victoria's head duty mark, and the maker's mark for Hilliard& Thomason. The case is in great overall condition. It closes so well the seam is hard to see. The details of the engraving are quite crisp. There are no dents. No splits, no breaks, no monogram removals, and no repairs. The case measures about 4 by 2 3/4 by 3/8 of an inch. This piece weighs 57 grams or 2.0 regular ounces. Good luck and bid with confidence. Antique Early Victorian English 8 Panel Pillar Decanter with Original Stopper
This is a lovely 19th century 8 panel pillar decanter with it's original hollow blown stopper. Dating to the early Victorian period c. 1840- 1850. The decanter is of bell form. The base of the neck with a convex neck ring and the body with 8 vertical pillars extending from the shoulder to the underside of the base& finished with a ground pontil. The original pear shaped hollow blown stopper shares the same 8 pillar design as the body. And has a ground end which fits the frosted neck well. The base is in good condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs. There is some clouding on the inside which could possibly be removed with the right treatment. The stopper has a chip on the base but no other damage. Antique Victorian English Pressed Glass Fancy Greek Key Sugar Bowl/ Centrepiece. A large shallow flared bucket shaped sugar bowl with a scalloped rim. Faceted knop stem and wide star and petal foot with a fancy/decorative all-over beaded pattern of swags, greek key and rosettes above the fluted centre. It would have been produced by one of the Manchester/North East glass houses c.1860's-1890's(such as Henry Greener. Thomas Kidd, Molineaux& Webb, etc) It is in excellent condition with no chips cracks stains fleabites or damage. Mint for age. Height: 4 3/4 ins. 12 cms. Appx Bowl Depth: 2 1/2 ins. 6 cms. Set 19th Century English Victorian Drinking Glasses Glass
on offer here is a set of four 19th century Victorian cut glasses. these are stunning not sure what drink they are for. they are made from the finest Victorian English lead crystal. they are hand made so vary slightly on size by a millimetre or so. they have a stunning ring to them when flicked and a polished pontil mark to the base. they are all in good condition and stand at approx 4.5 inches tall with a rim diameter of approx 60mm.

There is a fair amount of wear to the bases. Commensurate with age and use. I would date them to the late 19th C, possibly a little earlier. The fingerbowls have a classic. Plain design and would grace any dinner table. As well as being used as fingerbowls, they could be used for serving nuts or for dips etc. They measure 4 1/2 inches in diameter at the rim and stand 2 3/8ths inch high.
