Beautiful cobalt decorated stoneware crock. It has fabulous decoration which looks like leaves on a vine. It also looks like hearts. It is marked on the ... morefront and I believe it to say West Troy Pottery. It measures 7.5 tall and 8 inches across the top. It has a couple of OLD chips on the front and a couple of very small flea bites on one ear. There is also a tight crack on one side. There are lots pf pictures. None of this distracts from the appearance. This stoneware crock is not in mint condition so if you are wanting mint please don't bid. This is an old utilitarian piece and used as such. All sales are final. Insurance is included in my shipping charge. If it seems high. Please don't bid. I have this packed professionally and shipped ups so it gets there in one piece. Ask questions before you bid as I do not accept returns. Thanks for looking and good luck. Posted with.RcmdId ViewItemDescV4,RlogId p4%60bo7%60jtb9%3Fv%7F.rpn36%3E-13ced24df8f-0x103-

An original antique 19th century small stoneware jar which is impressed on each side Keller's / Baked Beans. The jar is unusual in that the interior is ... moresalt glazed while the exterior is covered in a Albany type slip glaze which is the reverse of most stoneware items. The jar measures approximately 3 1/8" tall and is approximately 4" in diameter. This item is much older than what is normally encountered in baked bean type pots and is the only specimen of these that I have ever seen. item is completely fresh to the market from a very old collection. An old 14 ½ inch tall memory jug with some interesting items. Please look at the close up pictures below. All items are applied to plaster. The base ... moreis a glass bottle that looks to be a deep cobalt blue. But I’m not sure as I can not get light through it. It looks to have been painted gold at one time. But has aged– so no metallic shine, just good old dark patina. There are losses here and there. Particularly the loss of plaster at the lip of the piece. In any case. A cool old authentic addition to a folk art collection. 5046k Please feel free to e-mail with any questions you may have. This item will be shipped parcel post to save on postage costs.
