Vintage Salvaged Copper Star Burst Molding with 1 Star Burst. Nice Patina- 1920’s Art Deco Panel! 6& 3/4 inches x 6 1/2 inches) This listing is for one vintage copper molded panel with 1 Star Burst. This is a very rare vintage copper molding that has a great natural aged patina. As it was salvaged from an Art Deco building that was built in 1925. This copper panel measures about 6 3/4” wide and 6 1/2” long. The panel was stamped in a sheet of copper about 1/16” thick. However the molding is about 3/8” thick as a stamped molding at its thickest point(the round center or the sun in the star burst) The vintage copper molding has a real nice patina. As they were manufactured and installed on an Art Deco building in the 1920’s, it does have some manufacturers solder on the back side were the copper had hairline cracks from the factory stampings ... moreof the copper back in the 1920's. Like new condition 17" foam ceiling medallion with a 4" center hole. White in color ready to paint or can be left the condition in came in. These are great reproduction items and weigh very little. Vintage White Ceiling Tin Cross
This cross is made with American vintage recycled ceiling tin. The cross is 23 1/2 inches tall and 16 1/2 inches wide. Antique, Gothic style, ceiling tin salvaged from an old building in Northeastern, PA. 15 ... moreof the sheets were not original to the building's construction(see photos to compare) Although we didn't personally remove the tin. The contractor that we acquired them from did an excellent job removing them. Most other guys would've just pried them off of the ceiling, however, he had his workers unbolt them from the ceiling and carefully remove each sheet to keep them from ripping and folding. As a result, 17 of the sheets are in great shape with only a small, 1/2" diameter hole from where the bolt was removed. The 10 sheets with 7 out of 8 tiles intact must have had a big pipe going through their partial tile. The last 7 sheets were either cut at an angle or were somehow damaged while they were installed. There are the typical nicks, scratches, and light dents that you would expect to find on old, ceiling tin, but no breaks, cracks, or gouges. Most of the dark spots on the antique sheets are just dirt and build-up which could be removed with a thorough cleaning. Aside from covering ceilings. Up for auction is an antique 19th Century tin architectural ceiling tile square recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It is found in good used condition, with a wonderful cream colored painted finish. This tile is made of tin and does attract a magnet. It measures approximately 24 1/2" x 24 1/2" in size. Quite decorative, it features a wreath in the center with fleur de lis decorations in each corners. There are two holes in the center and several mounting holes along the sides. There are losses to paint and one large dent along the sides. Several areas of the original silver color of this tin is exposed in many areas. Great for display, reuse or repurposing. Antique, Gothic style, ceiling tin salvaged from an old building in Northeastern, PA. 15 ... moreof the sheets were not original to the building's construction(see photos to compare) Although we didn't personally remove the tin. The contractor that we acquired them from did an excellent job removing them. Most other guys would've just pried them off of the ceiling, however, he had his workers unbolt them from the ceiling and carefully remove each sheet to keep them from ripping and folding. As a result, 13 of the sheets are in great shape with only a small, 1/2" diameter hole from where the bolt was removed. The 10 sheets with 7 out of 8 tiles intact must have had a big pipe going through their partial tile. The last 7 sheets were either cut at an angle or were somehow damaged while they were installed. There are the typical nicks, scratches, and light dents that you would expect to find on old, ceiling tin, but no breaks, cracks, or gouges. Most of the dark spots on the antique sheets are just dirt and build-up which could be removed with a thorough cleaning. Aside from covering ceilings. RARE Victorian ANTIQUE CEILING TIN TILE FLOWERS IN VASE PRIMITIVE SCONCE VINTAGE
I found these vintage ceiling decoration tin tiles in a box with other old ceiling tiles in a closed down 1800's store. I have never seen anything like it. And it is perfect for showcasing a wall or mantle in any room of the house. It measures 13 inches tall and has a hole at the very top that could be used for hanging. It features a very ornate Victorian Era pattern, and is made out of light weight tin. PERFECT for the chabby chic look, to off set modern furnishings, or to compliment any decor. It has some surface rust mostly on the back, but is in excellent condition. I found 2 of these with the same pattern. So the lucky winner may be able to negotiate a price for the other one as well. Antique White 23" Tin Ceiling Tile Shelf with a beautiful raised design! This is not a reproduction piece. Made to look old. This is an authentic antique shelf made out of Wood and Reclaimed Decorative Tin Panels, held together by brads. It measures about 23 inches long(roughly 2 ft) by 8 inches tall. The top ledge measures 6 inches deep. Be sure to check out the photos. Since they are of the actual shelf up for auction. Now all these years later they have become VERY popular in all manner of interior designs. And Collectible as historical Precious pieces of Americana. We have a source for these old tins who travels all over the US salvaging as many as he can from any old buildings that are scheduled to be torn down. He then takes them and stencils a cowboy art design in the center. Blackening the borders and sealing the entire piece with a clear coat of acryllic to retain as much of the old chippy paint as possible. Because these are OLD salvaged tins. NO two are ever exactly alike! The rust went through in places(mostly around the trim) and the bottom has been trimmed but that's to be expected with these old tins and really only adds to their authenticity and charm. Antique, Gothic style, ceiling tin salvaged from an old building in Northeastern, PA. 6 of the sheets were not original to the building's construction(see photos to compare) ... moreAlthough we didn't personally remove the tin. The contractor that we acquired them from did an excellent job removing them. Most other guys would've just pried them off of the ceiling, however, he had his workers unbolt them from the ceiling and carefully remove each sheet to keep them from ripping and folding. As a result, 5 of the sheets are in great shape with only a small, 1/2" diameter hole from where the bolt was removed. The 10 sheets with 7 out of 8 tiles intact must have had a big pipe going through their partial tile. The last 6 sheets were either cut at an angle or were somehow damaged while they were installed. There are the typical nicks, scratches, and light dents that you would expect to find on old, ceiling tin, but no breaks, cracks, or gouges. Most of the dark spots on the sheets are just dirt and build-up which could be removed with a thorough cleaning. Aside from covering ceilings. These tiles have many other decorative uses: wall hangings, furniture embellishments, table top(with glass above) wainscoting, etc. Once you use your imagination, the possibilities are endless.
