Solid Oak. Heavily carved antique library bookcase with lighting fixtures installed. Truly a unique piece at estate proportions. Sliding glass doors with glass shelves. 90" wide, 19"deep, 98"tall. Those are actual sizes, not a typo! Recessed wooden base cabinet allows for placement around wainscoting. Was left from an estate sale. I'm posting this for my step-parents. ESTATE FIND George III Bookcase Cabinet china hutch curio From the estate of a Dutch immigrant who brought this with him from Holland in the 1950s you can see the original shipping tags on the back of the cabinet. I am not an expert in antique furniture however I believe this is a George III double door locking glass door cabinet from the late 1700s to the early 1800s. Everything looks original except the pane of glass in the right door. Being 200 years old this piece of furniture is not perfect.The burl type veneer on the columns is cracking.
