So we made a beautiful wormy chestnut top from 100 year old barn wood. And a frame from clear red oak barn wood. Both the wormy chestnut and the red oak are absolutely amazing! Walnut pegs cover the fasteners. The iron and fasteners are original and have been completely restored. The photos show the actual carts that we are selling. We photograph each cart as we list it. No end-to-end rocking: These carts were designed and built to be used in factories. They are solid and strong. But they rock end-to-end. This is actually part of their design. It made them easier to roll over the uneven surfaces of a factory floor. It's a good design for a factory, but bad for a table. So. We fix the rocking by adding an improved set screw to each end-wheel and ship a wrench with the cart so you can adjust the table just the way you want it. Not every cart on ebay has a durable fix for this. Look carefully. Authentic Lettering: Our lettering is authentic. LINEBERRY N. WILKESBORO. N.C. appears on both sides of the cart. Superior Restoration Process: the iron was c arefully cleaned. Buffed, and given a clear coat. The fasteners(nuts, bolts, and washers) were each individually hand-cleaned and buffed. The chestnut and oak were cleaned. Milled, and given several coats of a durable satin finish. A furniture-grade paste wax was added to the wooden parts for extra protection. Hand hewn dark wood with original wicker seat with all it's years of patina on the surface. Underside shows it much lighter. Circa 1840's. We are the consignors of this piece from the estate of the original owner. The first are the members of the original family that had it transported to California in the 1840's from Indiana. I was told it was a seat for the women to sit in at the back of the wagon but I think more likely it was transported on the back of the wagon to the west coast along with other furnishings as the seat is in such great condition for it's age that I doubt it would be in such condition with folks sitting on it going cross country. Anyway that's the story and my thoughts. In the end it is what it is and it is a fine piece of antique pioneer furniture. Measurements: Note it tapers in from front to back. End of arm rests across is 36" Back of arm rests across is 30" Across the top of the back posts it is also 30" Back posts from top to ground is 28" Front post top to ground is 22" Seats are 15 x 16" From ground to seat is 13" Condition for its age is fabulous. Original wicker has patina and near perfect weave with no breaks. But for one tied off area that matches rest of the patina so it could even be original. So minor to the piece that it is easily overlooked. A few of the legs have some splits in the wood. Overall a great piece looking for a home.

Vintage Whitewashed Wormy Chestnut Picture Frame, Mid Century, 60's Era, Pickled
Very stylish 60's era vintage white-washed wormy chestnut picture frame. This frame has a painted lip that angles towards the rabbet from a high point. And sweeps back towards the outside with a gentle curve. The rabbet size is 14 1/ 8" X 20 1/8" With an outside dimension of 16 1/2" X 22 1/2" The moulding is 1 1/2" wide. The rabbet depth is 7/16" The sight size is about 13 1/2" X 19 1/2" Frame has a nice. Even wash. O n the bottom rail. The white has worn off just a bit. The frame is in good condition overall. There are a few small chips on the bottom two corners. Don't have close-ups of those, but I think you can see what I mean in the first photo. Two of the corners on the right side are a bit open, but the frame is still solid. It sits flat, it's not warped. Vintage Wormy Chestnut Mid Century Modern Painting Frame Heydenryk Style 16 X 20
This is a vintage wormy chestnut mid century modern painting frame in the Heydenryk style. It definitely looks like a frame The House of Heydenryk would have made. But it doesn't have a label. It probably dates 1940s or 1950s. Overall. It measures 21 1/2 inches x 25 1/2 inches(54.6 cm x 64.8 cm) It has a back opening size of 16 1/8 inches x 20 1/8 inches(41 cm x 51.1 cm) The molding width measures a touch under 3 inches(7.6 cm) It has a textured. Combed surface. The profile is a great-looking reverse cove. The wood under the linen-covered liner is not wormy chestnut. But a different type of wood. The interior section is painted a reddish/goldish/grayish color. Giving it a wonderful look. The back has writing which says#D3331. I believe this was a model number. It also says#5 linen a few times. There is light chipping around the outer ... moreedges(please see photos) The liner has two small stains. Each with about a 3/4 inch diameter(3.2 cm) along the bottom middle section of the frame. There are a few very small marks on it also, but nothing significant. There is no glass. This is a great-looking vintage mid century modern House of Heydenryk wormy Chestnut frame with an oil painting on rice paper. The main photo looks darker than the actual piece because I tried to avoid the glare. But the other photo colors are accurate. It dates circa 1950s or 1960s. Overall. The frame measures 19 3/4 inches x 30 5/8 inches(50.2 cm x 77.8 cm) The back opening measures 12 3/8 inches by 23 1/4 inches(31.4 cm x 59.1 cm) The frame molding is 4 inches wide(10.2 cm) The entire piece is original and hasn't been touched at all. It has the House of Heydenryk label which says: a HEYDENRYK frame THE HOUSE OF HEYDENRYK 141 WEST 54th STREET NEW YORK 19. N.Y. Vintage Mid Century Modern Modernist Wormy Chestnut 11 3/4 X 15 1/2 Opening
This is a very good looking vintage mid century modern modernist wormy chestnut frame. It date circa 1940s or 1950s. Overall. It measures 17 1/8 inches x 20 7/8 inches(43.5 cm x 53 cm) The back opening size is 11 3/4 inches x 15 1/2 inches(29.9 cm x 39.4 cm) The molding width measures 3 inches(7.6 cm) This is a really nice cut of wormy chestnut wood. It has a light white wash on it. Which I'm pretty certain is original. There is some light scratching to the finish on the site edge corners. There is also a water stain in one corner(please see photos) However. Most of this just tends to blend in with the frame. It has the same feeling as a House of Heydenryk frame. But there is no label.
