The only damage I see is three small marks on the right border next to the roses. The white shiny spot showing at the top of the litho in the photographs is the result of the camera flash. It is not on the litho. The Antique Adirondack Frame is in Good Condition! The four carved wood corner leaves are all in tact. There are some chips on the inner gilded border. Mountain, Adirondack Style, Vintage Framed Art Print
This is a small but enchanting print of a mountainous setting with log cabin next to a flowing river. Beautiful snow capped mountain in background. Could be Colorado. Could be the Adirondacks. Would look great in a mountain camp or lodge. There is glass over it that has protected it from fading and tears. Print is in very good condition. Measures aprox. 7 inches by 4-5inches. I bought this at an antique store about 15 years ago as is. Frame may not be that old. Though shows signs of age, but the back plate of the frame appears in very, near new condition. I have not removed the print to see if there is any signature or information on back of actual print. Could be a sleeper! Please review all photos. Vintage Adirondack Wooden Hand Carved Frames
I am selling 2 Vintage Adirondack Hand Carved Wooden Fames. Both containing Vintage Allgemeine Modenzeitung fashion prints. When I refer to frame 1, you can view pictures 1-6 and frame 2 is pictures 7-12. Frame number 1 is in excellent condition with the exception of the inside gold lining around the print that does show age and some paint loss. As does Frame number 2. Frame 1 has tight corners with all leaves are intact, appearing in excellent condition. The print is marked; 19, 1865 Allgemeine Modenzeitung. This print is in excellent condition, not sure of the illustrator, but illustrated in 1800’s, possibly Jules David. I’m not able to confirm illustrator, so please view the pictures of the print and do your own research. Frame number 2 has some issues. Upper left corner leaf has a crack. Viewable in picture provided. The Right side upper ... moreand lower leaves appear to be missing parts of the leaf, although these areas contain the same color stain. I'm not sure if they broke off at some time, or if this was intentional. The print is marked; 50, 1864 Allgemeine Modenzeitung. This print does have a ripple down the center, visible in pictures provided. It might be possible to correct, but I have chosen not to try. This illustration was obviously done by they same illustrator as frame 1. The size of both frames are 14" x 16" outside dimension and inside picture opening is 9.5" L x 7.5H. Please ask any questions and view photos that I provided. The last photo shows the Allgemeine Modenzeitung markings in the center and the# and date in the left corner.

This is unmarked but shows signs of considerable age. The frame is from an Estate Sale and had originaly displayed an antique 2" x 3" metal photograph. Frame is quite unique and made from Birch tree bark ... morefront and back. The tee-pee is accented with dry straw and sewn together with what looks like strips of dry cattail? not sure) The glass front has a 1 1/2" x 2" opening which will display a small picture or left alone shows the inside of the bark in various shades of browns. This listing is for a vintage wood carved Adirondack frame 12 1/2 x 14 1/2 in. and the inside measurements are 8 X 10. The frame has carved leaves at each corner and carving along the sides with a gold inside trim frame. It's in good condition. No cracks and corners are all secure. It does not have glass so lighter to ship. The box will weigh 1 lbs.12 oz. from 92126 and I do combine items to save on shipping. Just let me know if your waiting on another item to end. Vintage Adirondack Criss Cross Frame --- Antique Little Girl Print --- 15” x 19”
This beautiful old Adirondack criss cross frame has wonderful flat leaf rosettes at each corner. It’s sound and solid and sturdy. Showing only minor light wear, with a nice patina. The outer edges of the“criss crosses” measure about 19.25” x 15.25” The frame opening on the back, where a print or photo would fit, measures about 15” x 10” The antique print is of a precious little girl in a hooded shawl with a bow in front. The print has quite a bit of wear…there’s creases in several spots… a water stain at the bottom… and a few narrow tears that you can see in the photos. Even with these flaws, the print looks marvelous for hanging…there’s a lot of character there! The frame is in great condition. Showing light wear only… nothing major. There’s what appears to be some dried glue around the lower right leaf rosette… perhaps the rosette was reglued ... moreat some time. There’s no hangar on the back of the frame. Colors on the advertisement are vibrant. Glass is perfect, no scratches or cracks. Paper backing of frame has cracked over the years and can easily be replaced if the owner wishes. The frame includes its carved surface. 4 corner leaves, gold inner liner, acid free backing, and glass. It measures 19 1/2 by 17 1/2 inches, overall and will accomodate an 14 by 12 inch picture. The frame is in good sturdy condition with some loss on a leaves and a twig. The postcards are in very good condition. Overall, it is a nice, old piece.
