Please contact us for a quote if you are interested in the refinishing service. It comes with a pull-out fancy scallop drawer, which is unusual for a bench like this. It has wraparound arms with rope twist spindles and an oval medallion in the center. It is 42 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 18 inches high to the seat, 30 inches high to the arms and 36 inches high to the oval medallion back. The drawer is 37 inches wide and 3 inches high. It will hold many pairs of mittens. It is a nice bench that would look stunning all refinished.

It dates from the 1890s to 1900s. It has a couple of rub marks on the tabletop from dragging something on the table top. It is noticeable, but not severe. It is a solid oak 54 inches quarter sawn top. The table is 30 inches high and when all four leaves are inserted the table becomes 8 feet long. It is a good-looking table with a large reeded center column and a platform base that goes down into the biggest ball and claw feet I have seen in a long time. The table is in a medium oak stain. Condition: Used Location: Fairfield, United States We are pleased to be offering today what I believe to be a bench made custom solid tiger sawn oak Chippendale raised panel all the way around cabriole ... moreleg flat top desk that dates from the 1890's. The desk comes with four raised panel dove tail drawers that retain all the original hardware. The center where the legs go have a reverse cove carving, which I have never seen in oak. It has a scallop bottom trim base, raised panels all the way around and a wide bevel edge on the solid tiger sawn oak top. The only negatives I see on the desk is that there is a little wear on the edge of the top from rubbing against something and there is a split going down the center of the top. We most likely could pull the top off and repair the top, which wouldn’t make a huge difference, but it is an expensive repair. The desk itself is high end quality.

Victorian Baby in Wicker Stroller-w/ Gorgeous Tiger Wood Frame - The Sweetest!!!
She is just too precious! This adorable little baby is sitting in a Victorian stroller and is framed in a tiger wood oval frame with the original convex glass. The frame measures 17 by 23 inches and the glass is 13 by 19 inches. The condition is very good. There are a couple small tears. The most prominent one being near the bottom. I have shown them in the last two pictures. They don't seem to be distracting and they certainly do not take away from this beautiful little baby. And, the gorgeous Tiger Wood frame is still at its finest. thank you for looking shipping cost includes insurance

Excellent condition. But does have some very fine scratches from polishing and age. The outer edge of black has some paint missing. See pics. Oval frame measures 23" tall. And 17' wide. Picture opening is 18 3/4" long, and 13" wide. The back of the frame has one spot about 1 inche wide where the nail tore through. It was repaired many years ago and you cannot see it from the front. The picture is of St. Teresa of Lisieux?Avila? and is in very nice condition. There are a few ripples at the top and a few nips off the edges.See pics. Inside the photo which we opened from the back we found a postcard dated 1942 from St. Paul Minn to Fairmount Minn. I will include this with the picture and the frame and documentation of its age. I believe this frame was probably made sometime around 1900. I found this treasure at a sale on the outskirts of Saratoga Springs. NY(a place known for it's grand Victorian era homes& rich history) a few years ... moreago. It remains in the same condition that I found it. The convex glass needs to be cleaned but it appears not to be scratched. Broken, or chipped. The wooden frame is tiger wood with black paint outlining the picture opening& the outer edge of the oval frame. The frame has some minor chips& scratches(understandable. Considering its age) There is about a 2.5“ crack/ split/ separation in the wood. It runs parallel to the flat back side of the frame& the best way I can describe it is that it is similar to when laminated wood layers might separate from each other. it's not the type of crack that runs straight through the thickness of the wood from the top to bottom so you only see the crack on the back of the frame. It does not affect the structure or appearance of the frame because the split in the wood doesn't run through to the front of the frame& it can easily be repaired with glue. It’s just barely visible when you view the frame from the side& back and you can’t see it at all from the front. I believe this is an original(possibly hand colored) photograph so it's a bit faded from age& there is a small tear in the photographic paper where the

This was a frame I acquired to put in my son's wedding pictures.many that were done in black and white with a retro look. I bought many. Many frames.and this one is left over. So charming and detailed. It is made of wood. But the tiger grain seems painted on.as I believe was the fashion. What I see as different is the design found at the top, bottom and sides. Also, this does not have the convex mirror.which frankly I like better. The size is impressive.17-1/4" tall. 14" wide. The area for the photo is 12-7/8" long and 9-7/8" wide.making a photo of at least 13" x 10" necessary. There is some overall background toning and some very light foxing on the background. Barely noticeable in person, but can be seen in the photographs above. There is also a small light smudge mark to the right top of the lady. The litho is not signed. The white mark shown at the top of the litho in the photographs is the result of the flash.
