This is a gorgeous antique solid brass picture frame. It is large and measures 17" from the widest point of the fan down to 10" at the bottom. It has a beautiful solid brass"leg" which is nicely decorated. It is heavy as picture frames go. There is a very small piece of the glass missing from the top left corner(see 4th pic) I also note that there is copper wire wrapped around the hinge on the back probably to strengthen it. This is a really great piece of history! It's old it's beautiful. Its 5 1/2 inches wide x 8 inches tall and in great vintage condition. The lady fixing her hair is about 1/2 inch back from the glass. It's a rare find and a great collectors item. The stand is adjustable so you can tilt the mirror. If you are not 100% satisfied I do except returns. Vintage solid brass Victorian style picture frame W/1860s pic
This is a solid brass Victorian style picture frame with an old picture of a little girl from the mid 1800's. I could not find any markings on the picture frame. There is a name wrote on the back of the picture. It has a fold-out brass stand to hold the picture frame up and set it on a desk or it can be hung on a wall. only things that I found wrong with this item is that the glass has a little chip in the corner but it is not very noticeable. In the picture is in excellent condition for its age it does show a couple very small spots of aging. It stands 11 inches tall and a little over 8 inches wide. For pictures 6" by 4&1/4"
