CARR ... moreCarrs of Sheffield 1999 This is such a classic rectangular shaped photograph frame which is made from solid silver by the well known and highly sought after silversmith R. Carr. Sheffield dating back to 1999. It is a wonderful plain design. Which can be engraved if you like. It stands upright with a fold out stand, it is lined in a navy blue velour boarded backing( velvet style) It has 4 small hooks to keep the picture in place and it is also fully hallmarked on the side Hallmarked: RC. Rose, Lion, Letter Y, 925(please see the last picture) Approx size of the frame is: 15.7cm high. 11.8cm across and 1cm wide. It stands 9cm wide including the backing stand To hold a picture size: 8.6cm across x 12.5cm high(3.5" x 5" ~~ Sold as seen in pictures ~~ Condition: This fabulous frame has been used and well loved. As expected with its age ~ it may benefit from a good clean up to the silver and the velour backing as it has been kept in storage for a while. Lot 2 Art Deco Brass Silver Metal Vintage Picture Frames Velvet Easel Hallmark
These two wonderful art deco picture frames are both in good condition with some scratching and wear which I have tried to show in the pictures. They are in very sturdy condition and weigh over a lb. each. Sorry for the glare on some of the pictures! The paper insert that came in the silver one reads Solid Brass. Hand polished& lacquer coated and it has a made in Korea sticker on its black velvet back. It opens by a brass latch into a photo album which holds about 56 photos which looks like it was never used. Its overall measurements are close to 7 x 9 x 1 1/4 inches and it weights 1.10 lbs. The one that is silver and gold on the front appears to be partly brass also and has a black velvet stand back with the"Hallmark" logo on it. It weighs 1.3 lbs. Again. Vintage Oval Sterling Silver Photo Picture Frame Velvet Back Easel 6.5" x 5.25"
The inside oval measures 5.25" x 3.75" Overall size is 6.5" x 5.25" The sterling silver stamp is the only mark I see so I don't know who made it. The frame as same dents and the back is faded. The glass is also old and has ragged edges. Still a very nice frame when polished and it stands well. SOLD AS IS.

You're bidding on a nifty tabletop wood frame with easel construction.this ebonized. Eastlake-style example was created in the 1880's.in chipped but otherwise good condition(see below) From a local estate.see our eBay seller's list for more fresh finds. Pictured with an apple to help illustrate its size. Forgive any reflections in the glass. This example has a hand painted matte with an inner ruffled velvet lining. Under glass, a lovely Victorian thing. Carved details throughout-see photos. Total height is 20-1/4" and the width is 8-1/4" Sight measurements of the glass are 10-3/4 by 6-3/4" The opening for the picture is about 3-3/4" by 7-1/4" at the center of the domed top. Easel-type leg device attached with hinges-all original. The condition is good but as is due to the number of chips to the ebonized ... moresurface. Structurally sound with no missing or replaced parts. Take a good look at all the photos to better ascertain the condition. The chips reveal the white of the gesso underneath as do the carved details. The matte is quite nice(and beautifully executed) The most interior cardboard lining. Behind the velvet, has a chip.
