Antique Victorian Silhouette of a Boy - Unique
From the children's styles it looks like a Victorian silhouette of a boy. It has gold glitter glued in for his hair and on the lapel of his shirt. Has unique scrolling around the silhouette. It looks like it is on a felt type material. I did not take the sealed backing off. The frame is 13" x 17" and is worn from age and use. Some of the material from the silhouette has moved around. But if someone takes it apart, they can probably clean that out. If anyone can provide any further information about this. I would appreciate it. Wide Antique Pine Picture Frame, Cottage Shabby, Very Unique, One of a Kind
This was a n antique gold leaf frame. Probably dating from around 1900. That the gold and gesso have been stripped, and what is left is a wide pine frame. You can see in the picture that there's one line of gold left. The sides are mostly white(gesso) With a little gold still left here and there. This was probably a beautiful gold leaf frame. And the gold had started to come off, so some one stripped i t. It's actually pretty neat looking as is. But it's somewhat rough. There's some gold l eaf and gesso along the outsides. As well. I'm not sure exactly what shabby and chic is. But maybe this fits in that description. The rabbet size is about 7 1/8" X 9" The moulding is a good 3" wide, so the outside size is about 13" X 15" The depth is about 2 1/2" A nice. Deep frame, can be l eft as is. AMAZING Antique 1920s BUTTERFLY & Botanical Display in Wood Frame UNIQUE!
One of a kind! This is an absolutely gorgeous antique display featuring butterflies and botanical specimens mounted on wool and framed under glass in a beautiful 1920s-era wood frame. Nicely designed. The display shows three butterflies above a collection of tiny flowers and stems with two arching grasses on either side. The tableau is set against a background of cream-colored wool fabric and the entire piece is preserved under glass in a lovely wood frame with raised floral decorations. Amazing! The back is covered in dark green felt and has little rubber feet on each corner. So it could be used as a tray. It also has a wire hanger, though, so it could also be hung and displayed. With frame, it measures 20-1/2" wide and 14-1/2" tall. The frame does have a repair along the edge that is not quite the same color as the rest of the ... moreframe. Frame is a cream color with beige accents in the rounded scalloped corners. A great frame to show off a special piece as opposed to the standard square or darker frames. The oval space for the photo is about 1 1/2" by 1 1/4" It has a glass plain inside which has some roughness on edge. There is a metal wire stand and metal backing on the back. You are bidding on some unique pictures. These were handmade sometime in the 30s or 40s by my husband’s great uncle. The frames are wooden painted white with gold highlights. They measure 11” by 13” and are about 1 ¾” deep. They have cardboard tacked on the back with a wire for hanging. The opening is lined with a sort of pinkish. Salmon velvet. The opening is about 7 ½” by 9 ½” The ceramic plaque that is framed is about 6” by 5” The plaque is a three dimensional plaque with a Victorian couple. The plaque is porcelain. Both pictures have the same figures. But in reverse. I see no chips or missing parts on the porcelain. I do not know if there is a maker on the back of the plaque since it is sealed in. Antique Vintage Material Padded Double Picture Frame This piece is extremely unique. I have not seen another one like it. The outside is padded with a delicate design. I took the pictures out and noticed behind the pictures is a padded felt backing. The pictures in the frame look like late 1800's- early 1900's. The back right side of the padded frame has a small area that is not frayed but worn. I do not think it takes away from the uniqueness of the item. The front of the frame is in fine condition. AMERICANA Antique Feather Work of an American Eagle with Shield Old Frame UNIQUE
Up for sale is a VERY unique piece of Americana. This is a antique feather work picture depicting an American Eagle in flight with a American Flag and Shield. This has been in my family for years. So I know for a fact it is quite old. The only one I'm able to find like this is on an antique website and if you search feather work eagle you will find it, as I did. It is from the late 1800's from what my aunt told my mother and that date coincides with what I can find online. It measures 9 1/2" x 7 1/2" for the inner picture and 12 3/4" x 10 1/2" for the outer frame. There is some slight fading on the black paper and feathers, but that is what light will do over time. The frame has some slight damage and spotting, I try to show that in the pictures. I took the pictures without the glass in the frame except for the ... morelast one so you can"really" see it without the glare. Pair of Antique Chicken Pictures in Unique Frames AWESOME!
These very old. Framed prints of chickens are quite unique. I have never seen any like them. Each wood frame measures 8 3/4" by 6 3/4" and features tiny metal chickens tacked to the bottom right. The prints are in very good condition, having no tears or stains. The frames have some scratches here and there, and one has the tip of the small screw(used to hold the wire for hanging) protruding in the front seam of the two pieces of wood in the frame. This may be viewed in the 6th photo. The bright oval in the bottom right of the last picture is a reflection of a light. I will combine multiple purchases for shipment. Very unique- gorgeous framed art which appears to be in ink. I have had this for years and. As you can see from the photos, I added a claw to hang it. The backing is worn and peeling, you can see a water mark on the print to the left. Antique Landscape Colored 7" by 9" PictureTin Frame Unique Marked 1900
Up for bid is an antique picture. A river and trees at sunset. The picture is mounted on a thick piece of black cardboard and glued together. The glue has come through a great deal of the picture but the picture itself is intact and quit visible. What makes the piece unique is the large decorative gold tin corners that are in excellent condition. I wouldn't sell this except for this decorative design. On the back it says Anna 1900 and has another number on another sticker. The picture measures 7 1/4" by 9 1/4' and with the corners 10" by 12" I have been trying to sell baseball cards and 45 records the last few months with no luck. So back to what I know. Please take a minute and look at my other listings which are varied and different. I will combine postage I have considerable inventory I need to consolidate and doesn't ... morehelp that I keep adding to it. I particularly like the 1940's and 1950's but do list other items so check back. If you find something you like remember I will combine postage. Antique Unique Turned Intricate 12 1/2" X 10 1/2" Pine & Mahogany? Picture Frame
This is a beautiful handmade antique picture frame. I believe it is made of pine and mahogany wood. The turnings were made then drilled for assembly. The turnings are very small and intricate. Lots of attention to detail and very time consuming to build. The outside dimensions of frame are 12 1/2" X 10 1/2" The center picture opening is 4 1/2" X 6 3/8" and is missing one small piece of trim and the glass. Some of the wood has chips and dust.
