This is a very important Guangxu signed of the period signed underneath the glaze in blue porcelain plate from 1875-1908. SIZE: 10 3/8 inches wide/across by about 1 inch high when sitting on the table.CONDITION: Fine condition, t here are no chips.Cracks or repairs, there is a flaw on the edge of the back shown in photo eleven on the left side of the photo. This was done in the making of the plate, I can only see one other very tiny in the making flaw that was also done in the making.this is shown in photo ten, on the left side of the photo. There is typical minor wear to the gold gilding on only a few places on the edge, nothing detracting. ANTIQUE FRAMED PRINT HOWARD CHANDLER CHRISTY WOMAN w/ ROSE "TEASING" MAN - 1905
CUSTOM FRAMED HOWARD CHANDLER CHRISTY OLD PRINT DATED“COPYRIGHT 1905 MOFFAT YARD& CO NY on the lower left side of the print. Lower right side has the name of the print TEASING. Picture subject is an elaborately dressed woman with a beautiful bonnet. Standing next to a man with a perplexed look on his face. She is looking at him out of the corner of her eyes, taunting him with a rose. The name of the print is TEASING. The off-white background of the print is complimented by the off-white color mat. Print has several slight wrinkles on the upper right corner of the print– see photo. Lower right corner of the print has a small discoloration mark– looks like a very slight shadow. Neither problem detracts from the print because they are so minor. The rest of the print– the main part– is in good condition and looks beautiful on the wall. The ... moreframe is a wood-like material– maybe resin. The custom framing was done around 1970– 1980’s. With a custom cut mat and backing around the antique print. The frame has glass and backing with the label from the person that framed the print. Narrow gold tone accent on the front edges of the frame. The original finish on the frame is in good condition– a few superficial“use” scratches on the frame. The frame and contents weigh about 4 ½ pounds before any packing materials. The outer measurements of the frame are just less 18 inches by just less 22 inches. Opening for the glass is 16 inches by 20 inches measured from the back. The opening of the mat for the print is just over 12 inches by 15 ¼ inches. This is one of a pair of two framed Howard Chandler Christy prints that I have listed. If you are successful on both. Up for your consideration is this antique Victorian walnut stick style picture frame with an antique print of a rose. The frame includes its beaded surface. 4 corner white porcelain buttons, gold inner liner, wooden backing, and old wavy glass. It measures 16 1/2 by 18 1/2 inches, overall and will accomodate a 10 by 12 inch picture. The frame is in good sturdy condition with some chipping on gold inner liner and a broken stick. The frame displays an antique 19th print signed SD and featuring a young lady totally Marie-Antoinette at the Trianon style under a heavy and thick bevelled glass. It rests on two gilded wall feet. Pair of Wooden Oval Frame Floral Rose Print
Here we have a beautiful pair of a wooden frames with a harvest design on each side of its frame. Each frame holds a picture of a floral setting. Flowers and roses with the thorns and stems. As mentioned above in description. One frame has a repair on the inside of the border, as seen in the picture while the other picture has a tiny bubble in the glass- also shown in picture. These frames are fairly old and do show signs of wear from over the years. cracks are prominent among the frame.
