Tin and Tile Picture Frame, Distressed, Modern, Mission/Arts and Crafts Style
For your consideration. A really cool picture frame. Frame is all tin(metal) with tiles inlaid as a border. The tiles are blue and white Talavera style. I believe this to be a modern(in the last 30 years) picture frame that was produced and distressed to look old. There are no markings. It is in the Mission style but would fit an Arts and Crafts setting as well. View the pictures thoroughly and draw your own conclusion as to the age.I might be wrong in my assessment. A classic old frame with great patina! This one is 14"h at it's tallest and about 9 3/4" across the front at the base x 4"deep at the base. It will hold a 6 3/4" x 9 1/8" picture/photo. There is a chip out of one of the feet. Some dings at the base of the frame and an area on the lower right side of the gold frame that looks like something was spilled on it. Still a cool old frame!
