Approximate measurements are 28" wide x 34" long x 1 1/4" thick(beveled like. Goes in on thick part in middle) The oval center is approx. 22 1/2" across x 28 1/4" long. Print has a few areas of tiny dots on face. Minor and some light lines on the victorian shawl she is wearing. Signed copyright TCSPS on one side, and H. Stanley Todd on other side of the print. It is printed and not actual signature, print and frame are originally together, must have been a famous painting that was earlier. I googled the artist and he is famous. The frame really makes it. A light scratch that can be covered with Old English as well as some minor paintwear here and there, overall very good condition, both frame and print. THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE. RARE, ANTIQUE FRAME! We are pleased to offer this exceptional, LARGE, antique wall frame. This stunning frame is solid wood which is carved in a French or Italian, acanthus scroll design. The carvings are beautifully executed and are open. The frame is in 4 distinct sections that have been joined together to complete the piece. The wood has a gold gilded finish which is not too shiny or too gold but has a more of a golden bronze color. The narrow interior section is an antique white painted finish. The frame retains the original wire hangers and the hanging wire. There is no glass. There are remnants of the original paper backing and some tape that was used to hold the paper to the wood. The frame is in very good condition. You can see where the sections come together, but the frame is quite sturdy and is not loose, ... morenor does it give at these areas. This is a huge antique deep walnut picture frame in the Victorian eastlake style. It dates to the 1800s. I live in a small Maine town and this had been hanging in the old grange all these years. The frame itself measures 30 1/2" tall and 24 1/2" wide. It is 2 1/4" deep. It has the black painted lines around the inside of the frame and a very attractive gold border around the picture area. It is the original old glass. The picture size is 25 1/2" tall by 19 3/4" wide. It has the original Prayer print that was in it which is dated 1874. It says it is a emblematic prayer. It is all in very good condition. If you need a big frame or a large wall hanging this would do nicely.

To-Die-For Huge Antique French Prints in Gorgeous Barbola Frames
What a gorgeous matching pair of antique barbola framed french prints! These are so beautiful. The pictures just don't do them justice. I fell in love with these awhile back at an antique market and although I knew I had no room for them, I just couldn't resist! I've tried and tried to find just the right place for these in my small home, but have decided to let them go. The lady that sold them to me said that her parents had bought them over fifty years ago and indeed the original backs have been replaced and the paper used is dated April 24, 1946! She believed these to be much older. These are extremely beautiful. Luscious garden landscapes from original French Rococo painter Nicolas Lancret(1690-1743) The first print entitled"L' Innocence" depicts two parents with their young daughter. The originals of these prints are housed in the Louv're Museum in Paris. They are both done in the most beautiful muted shades of pink. Green, blue, gold and cream. They are soooo feminine and French. As pretty as these prints are, what makes these so lovely are the gorgeous barbola adorned frames. They are so beautiful and detailed! Rarely do you find a matching pair of antique framed prints like these! These would look absolutely fabulous in any decor, especially French Provincial, Victorian, Romantic Country, Cottage or Shabby Chic. This huge and deep gesso and wood carved frame is from a downtown Charleston estate purchased 11 plus years ago. It holds a print which is Gaugin reminiscent with the Tahitian women and a typical Polynesian scene. I did remove the print and it was being held in with a piece of cardboard on the rear with a label on it from a Philadelphia store and the address of the woman where the package was delivered.to a Ms. Lona Etheredge in Batesburg. SC and the label is dated 1953. She was born in 1887 and died in 1973. She had been in the women's clothing business for years and had a store in Batesburg, SC so it makes perfect sense that she owned the frame and print at that time. It was very shortly after that she sold her clothing store. There are some chips on the decorative wood pieces protruding on the sides of the frame( see pics 4-6) There is so much carved wood decoration on it that, they are hard to spot. This is a HUGE picture frame or mirror frame! Shabby charm! There are a few nicks here and there. With the worse thing being a piece broken off at the very bottom. View pictures 3 and 5. The very top of the carving has broken off somehow. I'm not sure you would notice this as much if a picture or mirror were mounted, though. This is fabulous and I hate to part with it, but it is too large for my bathroom. I was planning on using it as my main mirror, but it won't work. It is 30 1/2" wide by 48" tall. The stunning frame measures 45" X 40" on outside dimensions and stands 3" out from the wall. The walls of the frame itself are about 6" in width and fully covered with carved flowers and leaves in wood. Plaster, and gesso. The frame is in excellent condition with just a nick or two and one missing flower on the LL corner. The wood work is not flat across but multi-leveled with each level having a different design. There is a sheet of glass mounted over the painting and it is raised up about an inch ... moreso as not to touch the surface. The charming painting of three children is in excellent condition. These three are the first Kemps children(there were seven total) And the boy is William Henry Kemps(1878- 1964) He was the founder of Kemps Ice Cream and the FER- MIL- LAC Process Company. Up for sale is a lovely northern VT barn find! This is a c. 1850s-1900s Victorian or Rococo style picture frame. It is large- 32" by 28.5" and holds a 16"x20" picture. There is no glass included with it. It is beautifully carved wood with Gesso and gold gilt paint. The second border around the inside is a golden brown velvet. The velvet is worn in some spots and there are some minor flaws on the wood frame. The wood has some cracks in it when you look close up. But overall it is in nice condition for the age. Huge antique wood art nouveau picture frame with damaged canvas oil painting. painting depicts an old landscape and it is signed lower right but hard to read. the frame is solid. Sturdy and fine and it has a nice Art Nouveau pattern and finish to the wood. The painting is badly torn with a few loose pieces of canvas but I saved all the pieces. Essentially listing this as a picture frame with the art as an extra if you can do anything with it. The frame measures 42" x 66.5" that holds 34" x 58.5" It is guaranteed at least 100 years old and I am sure the canvas is original to the frame. We are offering for auction a large antique pyrography or burnt wood profile portrait of a young Dutch lady or Flemish woman in a bonnet. The back is signed and dated: Alice Paine Roff Aug 18. 1903. She is hand painted which really distinguishes her from the burnt wood background of windmills and tulips. There is another identifying label stuck on the back which states what this is and a price of $195 or $125. Not sure of the relevance so I left it attached. It measures 24" in diameter.
