This is a very attractive antique oval frame with convex glass with florals at the top. Bottom and sides of the frame which is 24in. x 16in. From the clothing we assume this is around 1915-1920. The frame is in excellent condition as is the glass. The photograph is hand colored(please excuse the reflections from the camera- these are not flaws on the photograph) This is a really nice piece. Picture Frame Overlay Cow Bone or ? Hand-Colored Print by O. Reim Early 1900's
For your consideration. This wonderful little frame is from the early 1900's and is wood with hand-cut overlay pieces that are either cattle bone or some other material, it's difficult to determine. One thing I know is that it's very lovely! This is a wood frame measuring 4.25" X 5.5" There is a crack in the wood at the back on the bottom right but nothing is loose and it feels very solid and secure. And the overlay is also supporting the structure. This is 3/8" thick. The print inside is by O. Reim and is hand-colored and signed in the print(signature is printed) I have not been able to find any information on O. Reim. The backing can be removed by easily bending up the little spikes on the back. The oval glass is a nice thick piece of glass. XLNT Antique Louis Wolf Hand Colored Tannhauser Print Arts Crafts Gilt Frame
This is an excellent antique hand colored print titled"Tannhauser" possibly depicting a scene from the medieval opera, Tannhauser" It was printed in 1915 by Louis Wolff& Co. in London and is in it's original frame with original wavy glass. The print is hand colored in soft tones of blue and red and has a fantastic sepia background. The frame has the original polychrome finish; gold gilt around the outer and inner borders, on the ornately designed gesso crest, and the beautifully carved corners, with a marbled band around the middle, and blue, orange, and red highlights on the crest. The finish is excellent with only some very minor finish loss on the lower right corner, visible in the photos, and a few tiny chips elsewhere. It is all-original and hasn't been restored, repaired, or re-painted anywhere. All corners ... moreare tight and the crest is firmly attached. The hanger is a decorative piece of rope that looks original. The print is also excellent with no visible damage. The paper backing is no longer intact, but the piece of cardstock with the title on it that was once attached to the backing is still taped on. Outer measurements of the frame are 27 1/2" x 19" and the print measures 24" x 13" It will be packed very well, double boxed, and insured during shipping.

Antique 19th Century Aesthetic Movement Frame Hand Colored Photo Painted Glass
This is a great-looking antique 19th century Victorian aesthetic movement velvet-lined frame with a beautiful hand colored photo and floral-painted glass. It dates circa 1870s to 1880s. Overall. It measures 13 inches by 6 1/2 inches(33 cm x 16.5 cm) The back opening size is 7 1/8 inches x 5 1/4 inches(18.1 cm x 13.3 cm) Approximately 3/4 inch(1.9 cm) is covered on each inner side by the velvet, giving it a site edge of 5 1/2 inches x 3 3/4 inches(14 cm x 9.5 cm) The design on it is quite lovely. The colors are all original and have not been touched up. The frame is very well made and sturdy. There's a tiny nick approximately 1/4 inch x 1/4 inch(63 cm x.63 cm) on the bottom right corner molding(please see photo) There is an unusual very light bit of white paint in the top left inner corner. But I'm not quite sure what happened there(please ... moresee photo) The sides are also painted, but the covering to each nail has chipped away. This really doesn't affect the look of the frame. The photo has tiny brown foxing marks on it. Most notably to the top right of her head. This was most likely caused by the wood backing. The patina really makes it. Given its age. This frame has held up very well. It weighs a little over 1 pound 4 ounces(572 g) It has what I always look for in frames. That wonderful old world look!

The print and frame are in very good condition with very little damage; just typical wear from age. The print is excellent with no tears. Creases, or water damage, but there might be a few tiny specks of foxing. The glass is original and wavy, and the frame is solid and sturdy with some tiny flakes of paint missing. The paper backing is still intact on the back but has been taped almost all the way around. It has the original Boston Store label on the back. There is a hanging wire attached but it seems much too long and will probably need to be modified or replaced.
