Certainly one of the best landscape paintings we have ever offered. 1870 era class New England landscape painting recently found at a magnificent local estate filled with only the best antiques and fine art; in the same family for many generations. All original. Never restored, exceptional very fine clean solid condition with no damage- the wonderful ornate Victorian era gilt gesso material on wood frame is in amazing complete condition with no problems- check my photos. Measures framed 21" x 27" the art is 14" x 20" We could not find a signature but certainly"listed artist museum quality. White Mountain School Early History It was early in the nineteenth century that artists first began to travel to the White Mountains of New Hampshire to paint and sketch. These early paintings portrayed a dramatic landscape with an emphasis on nature and man's insignificance. One of these early artists. Antique Litho Landscape Print in Gold Gilt Wood and Colored Floral Gesso Frame
This is a nice vintage framed lithograph print of a lush green landscape around sunset with a home on the water. The print is colorful but is probably faded. And the frame is excellent with only a few tiny scuffs that are difficult to see. The frame is mainly gold with a band of marbled gold and brown around the middle and clusters of gesso flowers and leaves with blue and light pink accents on all four corners. The paper backing in still intact but is taped almost all the way around the back. There is a newer metal hanger attached to the back in the middle of the top edge. The outer dimensions of the frame are 18 1/2" x 22" I will pack it very well, double box it, and insure it during shipping.

This is a charming vintage gold gilt rounded and curved rectangular picture frame with gesso flowers in the middle of each side. And a mountain landscape print with glass inside. The frame is in good condition with some scratches and scuffs, and spots that were touched up with paint, but no gesso is missing. The print is colorful but a little faded, and there is no signature that I can see. The paper is intact on the back and there is a wire for hanging. The outer dimensions of the frame are 21" W x 17" H, and the print measures about 18" x 14" I will pack it very well, double box it, and insure it during shipping.

Up for bid is a vintage oil painting from Artist T. Bailey. T. Bailey was a nom de pinceau for as many as seven different early 20th century Rockport. Massachusetts painters who painted primarily for the tourist trade. Among the artists who have been linked to the T. Bailey name are Max Berman( 1918) J.G. Cloudman, William Frederick Paskell(1866-1951) Vivian Forsythe Porter(1880-1982) Sears Thompson. Supposedly the T. Huge Antique Art Nouveau Picture Frame with Oil On Canvas Landscape Painting OLD
Huge antique wood art nouveau picture frame with damaged canvas oil painting. painting depicts an old landscape and it is signed lower right but hard to read. the frame is solid. Sturdy and fine and it has a nice Art Nouveau pattern and finish to the wood. The painting is badly torn with a few loose pieces of canvas but I saved all the pieces. Essentially listing this as a picture frame with the art as an extra if you can do anything with it. The frame measures 42" x 66.5" that holds 34" x 58.5" It is guaranteed at least 100 years old and I am sure the canvas is original to the frame. Antique Forest Landscape Painting in Outstanding Lemon Gold Hudson River Frame
Antique Landscape Painting. Either British or American. Hudson River Style. Subject is a forest/ vista view. One of the many delightful things about this painting is that there is a tiny brown puppy in the lower right hand side. Even the painting has a brown semi-circle"dome" painted in that mimics the dome of the gilded frame insert. Three letter monogram lower left, obscured by the frame.Frame has square nails and has an old wooden board as backing. The painting if fairly dark, could use a good cleaning, and has a few minor areas of paint loss. Please note that this painting does not sit well in the frame.it's loose and needs to be professionally adhered to the backing. There is also some right on the back of the frame. Antique Landscape Colored 7" by 9" PictureTin Frame Unique Marked 1900
Up for bid is an antique picture. A river and trees at sunset. The picture is mounted on a thick piece of black cardboard and glued together. The glue has come through a great deal of the picture but the picture itself is intact and quit visible. What makes the piece unique is the large decorative gold tin corners that are in excellent condition. I wouldn't sell this except for this decorative design. On the back it says Anna 1900 and has another number on another sticker. The picture measures 7 1/4" by 9 1/4' and with the corners 10" by 12" I have been trying to sell baseball cards and 45 records the last few months with no luck. So back to what I know. This lovely antique art deco picture frame is designed to accommodate landscape pictures. It has a round hook at the top for hanging. It is in good to very good condition. For it has some minor and not very obvious flaking and areas of where it appears as if it were touched up with silver color. This appears mainly along the sides, corners. It does feature a nicely carved design on inside of frame as well as outer edge. It measures approx. 17" by 9 and 1/8 inches for outside dimensions. Vtg Antique Hand Colored Mountain Landscape Print Arts & Crafts Gold Gilt Frame
This is an antique framed hand tinted print of a mountain landscape with a woman walking down by the water in the foreground. The print and frame are in very good condition with very little damage; just typical wear from age. The print is excellent with no tears. Creases, or water damage, but there might be a few tiny specks of foxing. The glass is original and wavy, and the frame is solid and sturdy with some tiny flakes of paint missing. The paper backing is still intact on the back but has been taped almost all the way around. It has the original Boston Store label on the back. There is a hanging wire attached but it seems much too long and will probably need to be modified or replaced. The outer dimensions of the frame are 11" x 14" and the print measures 10" x 13" It will be packed very well and insured during shipping.
