The Psalm of Communal Lament" We are very please to be able to ... moreoffer for your consideration this professionally tab mounted and framed 17th Century vellum of Psalm 44 The calligraphy on this vellum is hand penned. Our expert tells us it was most likely taken from a privately owned, and or, commissioned book of Psalms. We believe this because it is without illumination, and markings for musical notations. It is beautifully mounted on a fabric back board with corner tab mounts. The vellum is scribed in Latin, on both sides, or recto inverso. Shadows of the letters on the reverse side can be faintly seen through the text of the front. From the look of the font style, the peculiar punctuation, and the vellum used, our expert dates it to the 17th century. The passage is a portion of Psalm 44, or the Psalm of Communal Lament. According to our Latin translator it is verses 9 through 13. In these verses, the Psalmist laments that God has been slow to act, and has a responsibility to save these people from their enemies. The frame measures 23 1/8 inches wide. By 30 1/2 inches tall, by 1 5/8 inches deep. The frame is nice and deep, providing adequate space to accommodate the ripples in the vellum. The frame is finished in a dark brown stain, and is distressed. The back is covered in heavy brown paper with sealed edges. This piece weighs approximately 8 pounds. Condition- This framed antique framed vellum is in wonderful condition. There are no visible flaws that we can see. A deep gold leaf and coppery gold painted applied molded carvings frame dating to the late 1800's to early 1900's. Antique Ornate Gold Picture Frame - 16 1/2 x 12 1/8"
This is a lovely old frame that I found at an estate sale. It is just 1/2" too large for the picture I purchased it for so it will be a great bargain for someone who can use it. It has a piece of mat with a canvas finish that had been cut to fit which I plan to leave in place. It will be very carefully wrapped for shipping which will had somewhat to the weight. Weighed on my kitchen scale it is 4 lb. 5 oz. I estimate secure shipping will add another 2 lbs. To be safe I am putting 6 1/2 lbs. into the section that estimates shipping cost and hoping I am correct. If it comes to less than that I will issue a refund.

3 ft by 8 inches. Vintage, wooden frame. Detailed and carved by hand, back is stamped Mexico. Unique, very nice frame. Its probably from the 60's, it belong to my father in vietnam, its in excellent condition, may be one or two chips in wood but they're so small, you'd really have to look to even notice them. The back side is in lil rougher condition, but mainly just needs to be cleaned real well.

A very nice solid black frame. I believe it is wood and pressboard. But I can't guarantee that. It has three hooks that allow for hanging it horizontally or vertically. It breaks into 5 pieces-the inner slope piece of the frame is in two parts, but is held together by outer piece(Star pattern in third picture is from overhead lights reflecting) There are dings, nicks, and scrapes on several spots around the frame. They are smaller. One corner looked like it had been broken and glued before I got it and one was broken when I got it, that one was glued. It would look good with a new coat of paint or would be good for a custom paint design. A picture is not included.

I have here a good looking sterling frame marked 925 and with the Italy makers mark of a star. The numbers 1023 and F1. The frame measures 7 3/8 x 9 1/2" It has a dark blue felt backing and this is a freestanding frame. The raised front has a hammered look with a rope inner and outer border. Early Print of Child Framed in Early wooden Frame 8 1/2 x 10 1/2
Very nice early print of a child which I believe is early 17th century in a nice old wooden frame. This print has been in this frame a long time. I can tell by the nails in back which are old. Originally there was probably paper on back. Frame is in nice condition. This might have been stained brown. Measures 8 1/2 x 10 1/2 and the picture size is 5 1/2 x 7 1/2. This frame and print is in very good condition. TERMS: Payment is due within 3 days from end of Auction. PayPal is my preferred method of payment. If item is breakable there will be an additional charge for Insurance. Items are packed very well but the Post Office is not always careful. This auction isfor a vintage gold picture frame. I think it was originally used with a small oil painting because there is no signs of glass or brads. To hold it in, ever being installed There are some cracks and small losses in the gesso decorations on the corners, but it still displays pretty well and may be able to be repaired.
