These vintage solid oak wood frames measure a little over 6 x 7 inches with a 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 gold gilt ribbet. They are 1 1/2 inches deep from top to back bottom and come with their original back hanging wire and hooks. They are open frames with no glass. Welcome! Presenting a solid. Good quality vintage deep wood and gilt or gold leaf picture frame. The actual painting space measures 11 x 14 inches and the frame itself measures 20 inches wide by17 inches long. The wood is nicely molded in color and the gilt or gold leaf is soft and mellow in tone. There is a centered yellow eye on the back for hanging on a hook. This frame has had previous ownership and is not new, so on the back there are some worm holes and scratches and a tiny piece of stapled paper and a spot of gilt paint. Here is a beautiful antique gilt gold wood picture frame. Circa early 1900s. Looks very similar to the Newcomb Mackin style picture frames. It measures 14 x 19 1/2 ins. in total, and the insert rabbet size is 10 9/16ths x 15 15/16th ins. It appears to be hand-carved and gilded a luminous true gold paint. It is in FAIR as is vintage condition with surface chips/wear/scrapes, lots of paint worn off on right side, but still sturdy. This very special vintage picture frame is made of solid wood and is painted in a combination of patterns in a folk art/arts& crafts style. Black and gold colors are combined to great effect with delicate lightly carved details. This incredible frame is close to 100 years old and shows only minor scattered wear to gold gilt, tiny seperations at corners and age, nail heads around outer sides. This would be an outstanding addition to any work of Art, painting or print. Over all size of frame is 11 1/2" x 14 1/2" and will hold a 9" x 12" painting or print with depth of 7/16" where art goes. All wood frame is 1 1/2" wide on sides CONDITION Mostly just wear conducive with age and use with slight seperations on a couple corners. Darkening around outer sides with nail heads showing. Inside back where glass goes appears to have some glue/varnish residue which can be scraped out. Priority well ... morewrapped/packed/boxed with online tracking and delivery confirmation. Vtg Antique Hand Colored Mountain Landscape Print Arts & Crafts Gold Gilt Frame
This is an antique framed hand tinted print of a mountain landscape with a woman walking down by the water in the foreground. The print and frame are in very good condition with very little damage; just typical wear from age. The print is excellent with no tears. Creases, or water damage, but there might be a few tiny specks of foxing. The glass is original and wavy, and the frame is solid and sturdy with some tiny flakes of paint missing. The paper backing is still intact on the back but has been taped almost all the way around. It has the original Boston Store label on the back. There is a hanging wire attached but it seems much too long and will probably need to be modified or replaced. The outer dimensions of the frame are 11" x 14" and the print measures 10" x 13" It will be packed very well and insured during shipping.
