Both stoppers have a pewter color glass trim and the same on the top of the bottles. The bottles are the same size but one has a larger neck and stopper. There is a small chip on the frosted edge of the large stopper. The small stopper has a small(hardly visible) chip on the side and you can see that the pewter goes all the way through. Not painted on. They are 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" and 4-1/2" tall. I believe this is pressed or poured glass as I can see two seams starting on the necks of the bottle. This is a gorgeous 8 X 10" metal and glass art deco style picture frame. Probably from the 30s or 40s. Probably brass, although the metal shade is very light and almost looks like silver. Looks like a frame within a frame, as there is an oval metal in the center of black reverse painted glass on each corner. At the top there is a little fleur de lis decoration, that looks like it is holding the oval on the frame. Really unique, but better to see my photos, since my description doesn't quite do it justice. The back is the velvet covered type, with an easel for standing or rings for hanging. The original owner of this lovely frame has put a piece of twine between the rings, probably so it could hang on one nail. I left it on, although it just unties. in very good, clean condition. Vintage Art Deco Black Gold + Silver Reverse Painted Glass Picture Frame
Here is a vintage Art Deco reverse painted picture frame. The back easel material that holds the frame to the easel is torn and broken. Someone has tried numerous strips of cellophane tape to hold it in place with no luck. The easel still holds the picture upright but will need to be fixed so it doesn't slip. Otherwise the frame appears in very nice cosmetic shape with no real issues. Cracks, chips or repairs. It has chrome corners with reverse painted silver and gold paint on black. The chrome corners shows expected light surface scratching from use. There are a few edges with small tiny dots of missing black paint but nothing bothersome at all. Please see photos for condition. Antique Black Forest Framed Chromo Litho of Baby/Tramp Art/Old Glass
Beautiful Old Print of a Baby in Chair with what appears to be a horn or bagpipes on the back of the chair. This piece is a puzzler as the print looks quite old. The material or paper it is printed on looks to be a canvas type of texture. When using a strong magnifier to look for dot patterns, none is to be seen leading me to believe this is indeed an old print. The colors are quite nice. The glass is old with bubbles and flaws. The Black Forest Frame appears to have been painted brown some time in the past. Small pieces of debris can be seen under the glass, and I have not taken it apart to clean or examine it. The large tacks/nails that are holding the back on look to be old. The back looks as if there is water damage but I believe it to be the grain in the wood. It is certainly a beautiful and interesting piece. I am offering for auction a beautiful ANTIQUE GOLDTONE METAL FILIGREE WOODEN AND GLASS PICTURE FRAME This antique picture frame is absolutely exquisite and still in good usable condition. I would date this piece to the late 1800's era. The actual outside measurement is 13 1/2" x 11 1/2" The inside picture measurement is 5 1/2" x 4" The glass is beautiful and original. Very old and has a black painted inside border outlining the portrait area. The actual frame is wooden and painted gold. This area shows actual wear to the gold paint. It would use a touching up, letting that to the new owner is desired. This is a wall hanging frame with original wire still attached. This very fancy filigree detailing is really beautiful and really hard to find in this great condition especially on a large frame such as this one. Great ... morefind at a local estate auction. The frame has a tiger wood faux finish with striking black gesso work. This is a bubble or convex glass frame that is a real eye catcher when displayed. I believe the old photograph is original to the frame. The handsome fella is wearing a collar which tells me this is a turn of the century piece. This is a large picture frame measuring 25 by 19 inches. The frame has been well kept for many decades. The gesso is not chipped up or missing any pieces. This is a fabulous antique solid wood frame. The original glass has a painted black and gold mat applied on the backside of the glass. The frame measures 31" by 24.25" and weighs 12 pounds. The inside area that shows inside the glass mat measures 16.5" by 10.75" The overall condition is good. There are pieces of the tiny sawtooth plaster design missing on the inside edge of the frame.
