Old/ vintage dark oak picture frame with glass that was in the frame when I bought it. It is 9 5/8" across 11 5/8" tall the molding is 1 1/2" wide and it would fit a picture 7 1/16" by 9 1/16" The frame shows some wear from use. A few bumps and scuffs, and a corner bump, and the wood is dry, it could use some oil or a polish.

Antique Arts and Crafts wood picture frame. App. 10.5" x 12.5" outside dimension, wavy glass, and a bonus portrait signed by the artist. I believe this is Chestnut, but I am not an expert. It's 3" wide across the front, 3/4" depth. There is an intentional gap that radiates from the center of each corner to tightly close at the corners. The wood gently slopes from the outside to the inside. A simple band edges the corners. The opening is 6.5" x 4.5" Fabulous condition with just a few surface scratches that I have photographed in detail. Easily remedied. If you like. I can do it. The lovely portrait in profile looks at first glance to be a photograph. But the paper looks like printmakers paper, and it is signed in pencil, so maybe a photogravure? Or another technique? Barey dusted, all original surface(I have not attempted to clean) Very nice double groove pattern to frame. Hand forged nails. All miters are very tight. Original sepia photograph was rebacked and remounted inside original frame. Original rippled glass with bubbles. Photograph appears to be either Chicago or Boston based on Trolley car. Frame has some light scratching(as shown in photos) Measures 23 1/2" length x 14 1/2" high with a 20" x 10" rabbet. Frame is 2" wide. It is 3/4" deep. Fantastic frame. Very intense tiger-striped grains, dark fumed original finish, nice patina, simple and elegant design. It has a carved outer border and a flat face. Very solid, tight. No separation/age shrinkage to the corners. No chips or cracks to the glass, a few scuffs to the finish, on side is reenforced with a screw. The face frame measures 2 3/8" across and measure approximately 13" x 25 1/2" outer dimension, 8 3/4" x 21 1/4" inner dimensions.
