LeCoultre Atmos Clock. Vintage This is a vintage LeCoultre Atmos clock. The case has a few small scratches. Bottom front. The serial number on top is 204112. The works are 15 jewels. The clock measures 9.25 inches in height, the base is 6.5 x 8.5 inches. The clock works good and tells time accurately. The glass on the 5 sides is all in good condition. I do not know much about the clock but I did take it to a local shop and they told me it doesn't need any parts and they can set the time which has not been done because I was told after shipping it has to be reset anyways. Walnut Wall Mount Shelf for LeCoultre Atmos Clock
I have a Used LeCoultre Atmos Clock Walnut Console Shelf. This Walnut shelf was made for Atmos Clocks. It is 10 1/2" wide by 7 1/2" deep by 7 3/8" tall. It features 2 brass hangers. 1 brass adjustment screw and a leveling bubble. I bought this shelf a few years ago for my Atmos 528-6. It is in excellent condition. I spent quite a few hours refinishing it and hand rubbed the finish into it. The Walnut has a wonderful deep rich color and it has a nice smooth feel. If you look at the last photo#7. You can see that a WALNUT CONSOLE SHELF is included in the receipt for an Atmos Clock. This IS NOT the shelf from the receipt. But I wanted to illustrate that these shelfs are the originals. Please. ITEM DESCRIPTION Offered here is a near mint original and fully functioning 1983 Jaeger LeCoultre*528-8* ATMOS Round Dial Mantel Clock. Serial number 562,560. Note: Any reflections you see on the finish are just background and sun reflections and not wear. The mint 15 jewel Jaeger LeCoultre signed movement(528/1) has just been fully disassembled& cleaned. Adjusted and timed by me and is working very accurately, keeping great time. The inner bellows(dated'83) has just been checked and is in perfect working order. The round ATMOS Swiss signed white painted dial, which has applied gold markers& numerals, is in mint condition as are the original black tipped gold hands. The rear bellows housing is in mint condition with no dark spotting, scratches or cracks. VINTAGE JAEGER LECOULTRE 8-DAY MANTEL DESK CLOCK , 7 JEWELS, RUNNING, LE COULTRE
This is an attractive 8-day Jaeger LeCoultre mantel or desk clock with an unusual black and gold case and jewelled movement. Apparently dating from 1963. The dial is marked“LeCoultre. T Swiss T” with an 8 in a circle to denote an 8-day clockwork movement. I don’t know when the clock was last serviced, but it winds& adjusts smoothly, and keeps good time(currently accurate to about 2 minutes per week, but I‘m regulating it this week to try and improve that) Stuck to the base is the original diamond-shaped manufacturer’s label which bears the Jaeger-LeCoultre logo and says“LeCoultre. 7 jewels, 8 days, ref. 539/ 63” I presume that 63 denotes the year of manufacture, but if any Ebayers know differently please let me know. The dial. Hands and markers are all in very good condition. Under magnification, the crystal has some faint scratches, ... morebut these are barely visible to the naked eye. The top and rear sections of the case have some dulling and light tarnishing of the gilding, which may polish out with the correct product, but I leave that decision to the winning bidder. I don’t know what the black panels are made of; they may be resin. Or clear laquer over metal, but have the appearance of mica, flecked with hundreds of tiny gold-coloured chips which sparkle nicely in the sun. I’m guessing these panels may be made of the same material as the blue imitation lapis panels on other JLC clocks. There is faint hairline crackling on both the side panels(see photo) which may be in a laquer coat. Under magnification, the front panel has some faint scratches, but there are hardly visible to the naked eye. The clock measures 12.5 cms x 8.5 x 3.5 cms(4.75 x 3.5 x 1.4 inches) and the dial has a diameter of 6.3 cms/ 2.5 inches. It weighs a chunky 591 grammes/ 21 ounces. The clock measures about 9.25 x 8.25 x 6.25. 15 Jewel LeCoultre signed. Classic Collector’s Item. The movement is working but eventually stops after few hours. Will sell it as is. The bellow looks good. All of the fixed glass panels are clean no scratches or with chipping. There is two front screws to adjust for leveling. There are knots on two sides to lock the glass cover. Stunning Jaeger LeCoultre ATMOS 528-8 Clock,Gold Plated,15 jewels, SERVICED!
A very fine example of the Le coultre Atmos clock with age a tint of Rose is in the Gold plate and 15 jewels. The ninth picture you can see 3 of the Gems that appear to be Rubies. Unit number 105,607, circa 1958, 528-6 series. It is great being able to have 12 pics on ebay! This unit uses no key for winding nor any batteries, it very complexly uses the tempersture variations and barometric air pressure to wind this unit internally by itself. There is not a plaque on this clock and they are usually mounted and just used for reflection purposes. Please also notice reflections in other pics as well. All the glass is original and unchipped! The top is of lexan from the factory to protect unit instead of glass that may damage unit if broken.This lexan is crystal clear.There really is no other word to use for this but stunning.I have had one of ... morethese before but this is of exceptional quality and clarity.They have the tendancy to spot slightly where the cover meets the base edge and this has very light on the left side top as seen in picture and i am sure could easily be remedied but is not very visible.other than that with only a couple tiny imperfections caused from its age this rarity will be a huge attention getter from friends and all who see it and a charm just to relax and watch it work. The bellows(non-dated) which is the original unsealed/removable style bellows has just been checked and is in perfect working order. Splendid Vintage Jaeger LeCoultre GRUEN COSMOS ATMOS CLOCK - 1960s
Offered for sale is this lovely Jaeger LeCoultre Atmos Gruen Cosmos mantel clock from the 1960s. It is completely original. And features a 24-karat gold plated Roman numeral dial. The clock stands approximately 9-1.2 inches high x 8-1/4 inches wide at the base and 7 inches wide across the front of the clock. It is 5-1/2 inches deep, and 6-1/2 inches at the base. The face of the clock is 5-1/4 inches in diameter. The clock is fully functioning, and keeps good time. All of the glass panels are in excellent condition, with no scratches or chips. The leveling bubble and locking lever are intact and correct. There is a small lever at the top of the dial for adjustment. The front glass frame pulls out to allow access to the works of the clock. The wooden case is in excellent vintage condition, save for a small blemish near the right top(looking ... moreat the clock) of the front glass(see photo 2) and tiny wear marks near the edges, completely commensurate with age. Neither is as noticeable on the actual piece as in the photos. The gold plating is in excellent condition. The clock has been well cared for, although it might benefit from a professional cleaning. We will leave that decision to the lucky new owner. Overall, this is a handsome example of these marvelous clocks, and will make a fine addition to your collection or to your mantel. It's been fully adjusted and timed and is working very accurately. Keeping great time. The inner bellows(dated'72) has just been checked and is in perfect working order. The round Jaeger LeCoultre ATMOS Swiss signed white painted dial, which has applied gold markers& numerals, is in mint condition as are the original black tipped gold hands. I am sell one Vintage LeCoultre French Street lamp post clock with the marking of" Rue De La Paix" under the lamp. It is very clean with no nicks and blemishes on it. The glass is clear on top and in good shape. The sign is clean as well. The unit measures 11 3/16" high with the base measuring 2 7/8" diamater. It is heavy for its size weighing roughly 1.5 lbs. This is a Jaeger LeCoultre Civil Date Aircraft Clock produced for the US Navy. I am not a clock expert. I believe it is circa 1945-46 based on the dates inside it. The Swiss movement is an 8-day 13-jewel mechanical type with a 12 hour chronograph. The case is made of Aluminum painted Black and has the data plate still attached. I have wound it up and it keeps time, the stop watch works, and the elapsed time works-IMPORTANT: The Small hand of the top Elapsed Time dial has popped off-See picture-it's at the"10" number. Here is a circa 1960 lucite 8 day Lecoultre desk clock and it is in excellent working order and has a near mint case with no damage or repair. There is a light scratch on the every back part of the clock in the white and there are no other problems anywhere on the case at all- none. Everything is ALL original on the clock and the movement is a skeletonized 16 jewel. All parts have the appropriate lecoultre marks. There is a 350 mark on the bottom foot. I want to emphasize that the case and the brass parts are in very clean. Bright condition with no abrasions or scratches other than the one on the very back side of the white lucite. Estate fresh. This Atmos clock has been in a place of honor on a library shelf for years. Serial number 32875 dates it to the 1950s. The outside of the case has lost some of it's golden color, but the inside looks perfectly clean. Unfortunately it isn't working, but I doubt it has been serviced since it was purchased. SPECTACULAR AND IMMACULATE WORKING JAEGER LECOULTRE ATMOS 528-8 CLOCK
This beautiful Jaeger LeCoultre Atmos 528-8 clock was given to my mother new in the early 1960's and is in spectacular condition. The clock has been cared for and protected for years. The movement has been locked when the clock was moved and it keeps very accurate time. The case and dial as well as the movement are like new. There are some minor scratches on the glass of the top of the clock that are only visible when you look at the top of the clock in bright daylight. The lucite face has some light scratches but no chips, cracks or breaks. The brass case is in very good condition as wheel as the very dark green side panels. Serial number 187,558. Note: Any reflections you see on the finish are just background and sun reflections and not wear. The mint 15 jewel Jaeger LeCoultre signed movement(528) has just been fully disassembled& cleaned. Adjusted and timed by me and is working very accurately, keeping great time. The bellows(dated'64) has just been checked and is in perfect working order. The round LeCoultre Swiss signed white painted dial, which has applied gold markers& numerals, is in mint condition as are the original gold hands. The rear bellows housing is in mint condition with no scratches, spotting, damage or cracks. The original 24k gold ... moreplated finish on the exterior is in perfect condition with no plating wear, scratches or notable damage whatsoever. There are no stress cracks on the base. Here we have a lovely 1930's Swiss'LeCoultre' clock in excellent working condition. Superb petite piece of workmanship. Case measures 55mm by 55mm by 20 mm with'pink gold plated scroll foot base' and small domed button to top. Rear features quality cut movement and alarm winding keys, flat plate time keeping adjust and movement and alarm time adjust crowns. Well proportioned and marked face with fine classic'Deco' numerals, each luminous. Fine geometric hour, minute and alarm hands, also luminous so looks great in the dark too. Face marked'LeCoultre' 2' Swiss' Movement keeps great time and sounds beautiful, as does the alarm with lovely tone. Feels very heavy for its size realizing the workmanship within. This is the finest piece of horology I've been able to offer in sometime and is the first ... moretime on the market since new, as always with quality looks as good today as it did 80 years ago.
