Antique victorian walnut cross frame with old Godeys fashion print
Antique victorian cross style frame. With leaf accents on each corner, believed to be walnut, with gold on the inside edge of the frame, with a believed to be Godeys(can't see any words as the frame covers the picture and I didn't attempt to take it apart) fashion print of five regal looking ladies in colorful dresses. The frame has 3 leaves with missing pieces. There are also 2 holes drilled on each side of the frame. The back is a piece of wood held in with old nails and old picture wire. The outside frame measures 11 3/4 by about 9 3/4, with the glass opening at about 7 3/4 by 9 3/4, so for an 8 x 10 picture. The frame has carving details and overall is in nice shape for its age. Antique 1860's gilded inset dovetailed walnut oval frame #2 fashion print
This sale is for an ANTIQUE walnut oval frame with a gilded gold leaf inset. This fame is nicely dovetailed and comes with glass. There is no wood back. Aprox 14 1/2" at the longest point and 12 1/2" at the shortest. There is an 8" x 10" cut out on the back to accomodate a rectangular picture. We see no damge such as crack chips etc. The gold leaf show some wear but still very nice in our opinion. This is a 150 year old frame. This frame also comes with a fashion print. It has the patina and wear associated with it's age. We have another exact frame without a fashion print. It is#1 We will include insurance on items over $20 and always include tracking.

Antique French Fashion Colored Engraving Print Eastlake Victorian Walnut Frame
Estate sale found antique circa 1880's French fashion engraving in a Eastlake Victorian walnut frame in very good condition. This print is marked at the bottom"PL LXXV Bureaux Berlin W. Wilhelmstrasse" The engraving print looks hand colored and has no stains or blemishes. The solid walnut with gold frame is in good condition except for a couple small areas of chipped off black japanning which is set over a gesso base coat. These minor flaws are all shown up close in the photos. The back shows a one piece this piece of thin wood that I believe is original but has been put back with the original inside surface facing out as the oxidation color is not as dark as the rest of the bare wood. I say this because some layers of old magazine pages are seen under the wood panel that someone put in some years back to pad out the print to ... morekeep it flat and take up the space created by the wood shrinkage from age. The print measures approx. 10" x 8" the frame is 14+5/8" x 12+3/4" x 2+3/4" thick. Displays well, a great addition to any collection. Will be shipped USPS Priority Mail with tracking included. Victorian Fashion Plate 1860s Print is 8" x 10" and in good condition.only discolored from age and one very small chip on top edge. that you can see in the scan(when framed you can't see this chip) I don't know anything about this type of print so I'm not sure if it's an original or reprint. I looked at the color in it with a loop and there are no dots so it may be hand colored. What I do know is I removed it from a damaged Victorian frame years ago.
