We purchased this matching set of 2 Piece Hutch with beveled glass. Solid table with retractable leaves, and Buffet with three door and 2 drawers, while stationed overseas in Europe. We are wanting to sell it now as we are moving to a small space and no longer have room for these big beautiful pieces. We still have the receipt from their purchase from Patrick Molinares of Patrick Antique in Tongeren, Belgium. Figurines German made, Early 1900's, Antiques, Collectables, Historic, European
Mint Condition. My Grandparents brought these back with them from Germany when they left after WWII they are from Heilbronn Germany, made in the early 1900's, the exact date is not known. I had them inspected by an antique specialist and they could not tell the exact date either but agreed that they are early 1900's. All six pieces are in mint condition without any blemishes. These six figures are truly beautiful and have a classic German lifelike personality in the carvings. True little gems. They range in size from 5.5" to 6" inches tall. These will only gain value with time, they are family heirlooms and I am only selling due to financial need as I have launched a new business and need cash right now to get it going properly. This auction is for one pair of solid wood. Hand carved heads. These gentlemen were originally part of a door frame from a home that was torn down in London in the 1970s. These exquisite heads are all that is left of the door frame. Each is hand carved and one of a kind as each differs in size, measuring 10 inches and 10.25 inches each. They measure 4.25 and 3 7/8 inches respectfully. The heads are four inches deep. The approximate dates presented to me from various sources range from the 17 century to the 18th century. Outstanding detailed sculpture and very well cast out of bronze. These were purchase from an estate of a older dealer that are now downsizing due to age. I was told that they date from late 1800’s or to the very 1900’s and that she has had them for the last 60 plus years. They are solid Bronze and not copper are brass and very heavy each weighing 4.4 pounds for a total of 8 pounds and 8 ounces. Measurements: They stand 37.3/4” high.
