I purchased this at an estate sale. It was very tarnished, I got it cleaned up and it is beautiful. The only markings I can find are on the spoons, and it says MADE IN ENGLAND, SILVER PLATE. I took pictures before and after the polish, sometimes it's hard to get a detailed picture when it is so shiny. Happy to answer any questions and I'll start the bid low enough for anyone.

Fresh from an estate art glass collection. This is a beautifull example of early Stourbridge Cottage Glass. This is a very pretty Thorn Handled Basket. The colors are a multitude of colors. White Opal lined with cased crystal exterior. Ground and polished pontil. This is a classic example of Stourbridge Cottage Glass. Possibly by Stevens and Williams, ca. 1890's. Antique Glass Wedding Bell - (possibly English) RARE FIND
Up for auction is a beautiful wedding bell. Wedding bells date back to the 1800s when Queen Victoria(so the story goes) had her glass blower blow bells for wedding presents. The bell was to be used in the wedding ceremony. At the reception. The clapper was removed and filled with wine. The bell was passed around for everyone to take a sip out of and wish good luck to the bride and groom. The bell measures 13 ¼” in height and the base is 6” in diameter. The base is red with a white rim applied to the edge. The handle is green glass. As the pictures note. There are no chips or cracks on this bell. The style of the urn is often referred to as Slice and Niche because the main body is cut vertically. And then the niched design is applied after. The Georgian period in England was from 1714-1830. Urns of this type were often used for small types of food. The urn stands apprx. 11 inches high to the top of the lid. The heavy glass urn shape stands on a squared base. And the widest point of the lid is apprx. 5 inches in diameter. The lid has a faceted top, and the lid and the base have engraved stars over and below an undulating design. C. 1870 This rich cranberry red epergne consists of three flutes with a basket on either side. The large centre flute is framed by two smaller flutes and pendant baskets suspended from spun glass curlicued arms. Both the flutes and baskets are further decorated with clear glass ruched"ribbons" wound around the bodies of the vessels. The coronet and basket arrangement is held in place by a pierced. Impressed brass stem holder rising above the centre of a fluted edged, curved bottom ... morered bowl that forms the epergne base. This lovely Victorian epergne would look lovely with fruit and flowers or with flowers alone. You could float tea lights in the bottom bowl to illuminate the flowers above. Please scroll down the page to see additional photographs of this item. c1860s CONTINENTAL EUROPE CUT GLASS FROSTED URNS– ENGLISH/ FRENCH? Presented is a pair of magnificent cut glass covered urns. These urns were probably made in Continental Europe. Perhaps in France, or possibly in England, between the 1850s-1870s. The urns are hand blown and then cut. They are very heavy. The flared rim of the urns are decorated with a deeply cut lobed pattern. The urns and lids have elegant matching borders of concave oval cuts and scalloped rims. Everything is superbly decorated with frosted vine, leaf and flower motifs. The bases have polished pontil marks with a cut star pattern. The urns were likely intended to hold sweetmeats or other foods popular in the 1800s. The overall condition is excellent. The lids are in fabulous shape. One urn has had a ... morevery nice professional repair to a break in the stem. The restorer inserted a brass or bronze pin through the inside of the urn into the stem to hold it together. The repair is very secure. We have shown the bronze pin and the visible drilled portion in the stem in the second and third to last photos. Please let the photos be your guide. One corner lobe of the rim has also had a small chip that has been smoothed down. And we have pointed this out as well. There are a few other, very minor chips to some of the lobes here and there, all small and only detectable by feel or very close inspection. A wonderful and very useful Victorian glass ice bucket with silver plated fittings and a silver plated drainer that sits on a series of plinths inside the bucket. The drainer allows for water to drip through so that the ice isn't sitting in water. Antique Glass Wedding Bell - English Wedding Bell - Cobalt Blue
Here is a lovely glass cobalt blue wedding bell believed to be from England. The bell stands almost 12" and the diameter is 6" The edge of the bell that joins to the handle has a few rough edges. But common in these bells from time to time. This does not detract from the beauty of this bell. I believe this to be from the 1800s. Antique English Hand-Blown Glass Souvenir Mug Bristol Gilded "Remember Me"
Antique English hand-blown glass souvenir mug made in Bristol. There are no makers' marks. This mug is artfully hand-blown in a creamy white glass. With the pontil mark remaining on the bottom. The front is decorated with gilt leaves and flowers and the phrase“Remember me. This mug is in very good shape. There is a fair amount of wear on the gilding. There are no chips, no cracks and no problems of any kind with the exception of a slight crack of about 1/4" on the bottom of the handle where it meets the glass. Not noticeable but it is there. RARE ANTIQUE ENGLISH BLACK AMETHYST PRESSED GLASS LANDSEER LION PAPERWEIGHT
HOUSE CLEARANCE ITEM* Dating to the mid-late 19th century period. This recumbent lion is modelled after Sir Edwin Landseer's lions which are found at the base of Nelson's Column in Trafalger Square, London. The glass appears black but when viewed in certain light, it is actually a deep amethyst colour. The maker is likely to be one of the following English glassmakers. Sowerby Glass, Derbyshire Glass or Greener Glass. It has survivedin very good condition. with just the usual tiny nicks and fritting around the base. Visible under very close examination. 19th C. English Sowerby Hallmark Pressed & Etched Clear Glass Mug
19th century pressed glass and a two-part mold from England; this is a small child’s glass mug with engraved ferns on the outside walls. It has a rayed bottom with heavy wear and centered find the Sowerby embossed hallmark. It has surface wear from years of use and cleaning and a couple of flakes at the base of one engraved fern. There is also evidence of staining and annealing lines in the bottom. Produced after 1876. This piece stands 2 1/8th inches high and measures 2 3/8th inches across the rim.
