A stunning pair of large Victorian/ Edwardian ruby glass candle lustres with cut crystal prismatic droplets. Of baluster form with frilled edge rims and with serpents coiled around the stems. Ruby flash glass with hand-painted gilding gilt floral decoration. Each measures 37cm(14 1/2" high. Good condition. Each vase is drilled for 8 hanging droplets. However four are missing on each vase(these could, of course, be replaced) There is also general wear to the gilding and a small crack at the back of one from one of the drilled droplet holes, probably originating from the time of manufacture. Several years ago when I started to clean out my grandparents home. I located these eight(8) ruby flash SENTIMENTAL Sayings tumblers/ water glasses in the back of the big dutch cupboard,with a black cloth over them. I almost missed them in the back. I can for absolute sure, that the cloth was placed over them, so there would be no shiny items seen in the cabinet. That's why I am also certain that these beautiful glasses had to be a gift from let's say an" English" friend(non Pa. Dutch) who perhaps might have gone down to the old Atlantic City. Or, could have brought them from Germany with them as a souvenir. But, I truly believe they were from the ALLENTOWN FAIR in Allentown, Pa. Of course I am just assuming, but, I know back in the heyday my nanas family sold jars of pickles, sweets, jams, etc at the fair. As with most ... moretrue Pennsylvania Dutch folks. I had a great laugh and cry. And then called Ella's daughter and she came to get the note, to carry on the humor of it. So. This is a very unique bird cage feeder that was made of cranberry or ruby glass. The piece is 2 7/8 inches high and 2 ¼ inches in diameter not including the clear glass fastener. We believe the piece stands up in the cage and is fastened to the cage by the clear fastener in the back. We believe this dates to the 19 th century. The beaker depicts views of different buildings in a city which was probably a spa town which this piece would have been sold as a souvenir for. The beaker is made of clear glass with ruby flash decoration and all of the buildings are very finely etched. There are names under each of the 3 views. The bottom of the glass has flashed ruby grapes and leaves wrapping around on their vine. This piece stands 3 5/8" in height with a top diameter of 2 7/8" This piece is in great condition with no chips. Cracks, breaks, or repairs and just has some very light scratches in a few areas. 2 antique tumblers cased satin glass feathered design ruby red and blue white
Two cased glass tumblers with satin glass finish and pulled feather design. Both are white satin glass on the inside. One is blue and the other is ruby red. Both have a white pulled feather pattern in the glass. Each measures approximately 4 inches tall, 2 1/2 inches in diameter at the top rim and 1 1/2 inches in diameter at the base. The blue tumbler has a very small flake in the outer blue glass that takes very close examination to find and shown in the photos. The red tumbler has several flaws in the glass near the top that are also shown in the final photos. This is a very pretty pair. ANTQUE RUBY RED FLASH GLASSWARE 5 TOTAL PIECES 2 Small Cordials- These look like they are from the U.S. Glass Company. But I am not sure. They are blocked and very Beautiful. Measures: 4" Tall. Base is 2- 1/4" Diameter. 1 glass has chip on foot. See picture. These have very little flaking. 1 Large Tumbler- There is also a block pattern around the base. I don't know what pattern this is. But again, it is quite Beautiful. This tumbler goes from 4- 1/4"in diameter at the top down to about 3- 1/2" in diameter near the base. But back to 4- 1/4" diameter at the base. Giving it a very unusual and interesting shape. Measures: 4" Tall. Top is 4- 1/4" Diameter. Base is 4- 1/4" Diameter. Flea bites/wear around the base. Some flaking. I tried to capture all in photo's. 1 Small Tumbler(Juice Glass? E tched ... moreon t his Glass is the name Jim Divine 1910. The glass is in good shape. No flea bites. Just a small amount of flaking. Measures: 3- 1/2" Tall. 2- 1/4" Diameter. 1 Small Plate- E tched on t his Plate is the name Ollie 1911. The red on this plate may not be ruby red. It is more iridescent and lighter than the other pieces. But still beautiful. I do not know the pattern, but it does have hobnail on it. No chips and very little flaking. Measures: 5" in Diameter. This lovely decanter stands a full 22cm/8.85ins tall. With the stopper in situ, and is 19cm/7.5ins without. The base measures 15.5cm/6.10ins across. The matching mushroom stopper is a perfect fit within the neck of the decanter and is star cut on the top to match the base of the decanter. Both the decanter and stopper are in very good condition with no chips and no cracks. This is a heavy and substantial piece weighing over 1.5kg and will be well packed for transit. Pair Antique Ruby Glass Nappys, Handled for Candy or Condiments
This antique pair of Ruby glass nappys are from my great grandmother's collection. She had more than 120 pieces of old ruby glass. It has been packed away for many years and is in excellent condition. This glass is from the era when it was made with gold to achieve the beautiful red color that comes to life under candlelight or incandescent light. Not sure when she acquired these but it would be before the late 1920s. She had some of this glass before she married so that would date it before 1900. These are very pretty pieces and unusual to find two matching pieces in such fine condition.

LARGE Antique Ruby Flash Glass PITCHER w/Applied Handle & Floral Design
Antique ruby flash pitcher with applied handle. Someone has put flowers on the front but you can see under the flowers that it's engraved: Mrs. B.O. Berry Measures 7" tall. There appears to be a small crack line near the top of the handle where it meets the cup. It does not go through to the inside and the handle does NOT appear to have ever broken off. I will be listing many more ruby cups and pitchers.
