This is a beautiful sugar bowl and creamer set. It is marked Z.S. Co. BAVARIA and it bears the signature of the artist on the bottom. It probably dates from the beginning of the 20th century. The set is decorated with pink roses and green foliage on a creamy background. The handles and the edges are gilded and the gold is still thick. The paint work looks like new. The two pieces are in excellent condition. With no chips. Cracks nor discoloration. The sugar bowl is 5" by 3 1/2" wide and 3" high. The creamer is 5" by 3/2" and 3" high. Please see my other items. Vintage Hand Painted Frosted Candy Dish 1800's to early 1900's'
The candy dish came from an estate of a previous relative who passed away in the 1940's. It has been kept in storage ever since along with other articles of china and glassware. I have been in possession of it since the early 1950's. It measures 8" x 6" x 1 1/4 in depth. There is a picture had painted on the inside bottom depicting a sail boat on the surface of a lake or river with follage and sea gulls. The glass bottom is approx. 3/8" in thickness with a few blue and white brush marks on the bottom to give a 3d effect to the painting. Very unique. There is etching around the picture on the bottom as well as near the top of the dish and also the handles. With all the etching painted gold. The dish is in very good condition. The history regarding the age was given to me by a deceased sister.

Antique Victorian Hand Painted Glass Set Tumblers Bowl Pitcher or Vase
Matching set of hand painted Victorian glass. Clear to amethyst. Same hand painted decoration on all pieces. Top edge of all pieces have a polished edge. There was gold gilt trim on the top edges but that is almost completely gone. Pitcher or vase is 7 7/8" tall x 4 1/8" round at top opening. Tumblers are 3 3/4" tall x 2 3/8" round. One has a air bubble right at the edge and looks like a chip but is inside the glass. Bowl is 2 7/8" tall x 5" round at top. Bowl rings but has an internal crack. Can't be felt only at the top rim. Looks like a manufacturing defect. Air bubbles scattered in all the glass pieces. Please roll over all 12 photos for details and close ups as these are also part of the description. Offered here is a beautiful antique Victorian. I believe, pink cased glass ruffled hand painted dish. The dish measures 8 3/4" in diameter, and about 2 1/4" tall. It shows some loss of the applied gold painted design, but the other colors are intact and vibrant. There are some dark specks on the bottom of the dish. I have not tried to clean these ff, as I do not want to use a strong cleaner on this piece. There is a polished pontil mark on the underside. I see no chips, cracks or breaks.
