The building is located in deep Southern Illinois along commercial avenue in Cairo. Illinois. This ceiling has had the paint come off over the years and is ready to be cleaned, re-installed and repainted if needed. A ceiling that is this large and intact is very difficult to find in this condition. The asking price is $90,000 or best offer and that price is the buyer removing the ceiling themselves and all costs to remove the ceiling metal will be the responsibility of the buyer. Circa 1890 PERFECT ART Tin Ceiling Company Catalog ~ MINT & NR
This old catalog is in near mint condition and is from the Lincoln Cornice and Metal Works Company. Perfect Art Metal Ceilings is the catalog name. It dates to the late 1800's or very early 1900's. It measures 9 1/2" by 6 1/2" and is about 88 pages long. Every page is filled with beautiful examples of finely designed ceiling and wall tins. There is a couple photos of finished building interiors as well. There is also a business card inside from a company rep. Prices per square are included on each page.
