It has an oval black walnut skirted top with an ogee bevel edge white and gray grained marble on top. It has four cutout legs with burl panels accented the sides and are joined together with a center column that has finials on the top and bottom. It has porcelain casters. The overall size is 29 inches long, 24 inches deep, and 30 inches high. It is a nice-looking original finish in a dark walnut stain. The patina of the walnut looks stunning against the marble top. Shipping starts at $165 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.

It is a great table dating from the 1870s to 1880s. I am confident that it has had an overcoat applied at some point in its past, but it has a warm mellow touch to the medium walnut stain finish. The table consists of walnut and mahogany. It is all hand carved with the floral arrangements on the serpentine skirts and cabriole style legs. The four legs are joined together with cross stretchers in the center with a huge center finial that is an open cup. The overall size is 36 inches long, 26 inches deep and 30 inches high. The overall condition is good and tight. There are a couple of minute chips on the marble that we will detail out prior to shipping.

Take a look at the photos. It has all sorts of burl accent panels, rosette buttons all over the place and the base has big bold heavy legs with button accents and burl trim up and down. The legs are joined together with a center turn finial and end in porcelain wheels. There are few flecks here and there and a couple of buttons missing here and there on the trim. The white and gray grain marble has a reverse curve corner with skirted matching base and an ogee bevel edge. The overall size is 31 inches long, 24 inches deep and 30 inches high overall. There are no serious repairs needed on this heavy duty high quality table.

Very elegant and well build construction feels solid and sturdy and will support a lot of weight. Due to the cabriole leg design the table can fit in small areas because the diameter of the top is larger than the bottom which allows you to put an armchair very close ... moreto this table without creating crowdedness. The table is covered with a piece of green onyx and is pretty heavy. Item is in original unrestored condition and in very good shape considering the age. However as any antique item it shown some imperfections. Which just add a vintage charm and character and will not affect the value. The original gilding has some reticulated cracks. The wood has a few splits, some pieces of the ornate foliate design are missing. I appreciate this look and would not recommend to destroy such time marks with"restoration" The table is about 29 1/2" high and 24" in diameter at the widest point. for sale a great antique walnut center or parlor table att. thomas brooks. thick. Solid, and heavy construction as expected from brooks. it has the original insert marble top and the frame around it. some call these picture frame tables. the table has great form and beauty with buttons, medallions, carvings over the entire piece. the central pedestal pegs into the top support board with 4 pegs and then is bolted. the fours legs sit on their original brass casters. the marble is cut exactly to fit in the frame only one way, if you get it switched you will mess with it for hours and won't get the frame over the marble. the frame then pegs into the skirt and that only happens one way. i will mark the pieces for the new owner so they won't have trouble getting it together. i took it apart to clean it and messed with it for over 30 minutes ... moregetting it back together, so i did not take it apart to take any pictures. i should have done that before i put it back together. anyway, should anyone want additional photos, let me know and i can take it apart if need be. it is a fairly large table and nearly round. it is 36 inches wide, 27.5 inches deep. it sits 30 inches tall. it has great burl accents on the leg panels and skirt. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at the buyer's expense. good luck.

Original shaped& fossilized marble insert, brass trim, and ebonized framed border. The conforming skirt has a magnificent rosewood band, beautiful flower mixed wood inlays on each corner, and exceptional gold incised skirt panels on all four sides. There are a total of 16 brass flowery ornamentations, four large sprays at the top of each leg, one on each side of the mid portion of each leg that are mounted on a raised rosewood diamond shaped panels and four at the base of the center support system. The table measures 29 1/4 inches high. The flat top is 22 inch square with the widest part 26 1/2 inches square.The bottom board widest part is 20 1/2 inch. Exquisite Antique Rare Alexander Roux Rosewood Parlor Center Table I am selling this table for one of my clients. Up for auction is this exquisite rare Alexander Roux rosewood center table. It is circa 1860. The pedestal and skirt are solid rosewood and the table top is rosewood veneered. It originally had a marble top. I had a piece of glass made for it. There is rosewood veneer as a substrate with oak under layment that is under where the marble would be. This indicates an extremely high quality table indicative of Roux. It has acanthus leaf scrolls with a very ornate rococo base. There is a partial label on the bottom side of the table top that says"Wheeler" This name is probably of who the table was made for. It has its original casters. It has a molded ogee edge on the table top. There is a small piece of the carving missing ... moreon one of the legs. One of the legs was broken but was professionally repaired. The dimensions are: 30 1/4" tall. The table top dimensions are: 45" round. The skirt is almost 2" thick. I am honored to offer this beautiful Victorian Carved Brown Walnut Parlor Center Lamp Table with Oval White Italian Cararra Marble Top. Estimated to have been crafted around 1875. This gorgeous brown walnut table weighs about 80 pounds with the marble top and is approximately 26" deep/front to back. Approximately 35.5" wide/left to right and approximately 30" high/tall. I beleive this table to have the original finish. The detail that went into crafting this table is astonishing. This white. Grey and black veined scrolled beveled edge Italian Cararra marble oval top has it's original finish and is in excellent antique condition with natural occuring tan coloration and character marks normally expected with antique white marble. I particularly like the diagonal viening in the marble which is fairly uniform and straight for ... morea natural formed stone. This table is very similar to another table from another seller here on eBay. But the diagonal viening on this table is much more atractive than the marble viening on the other sellers table. The marble sits very flatly and securely on the detailed carved brown walnut oval shaped table frieze/apron. The table is raised on four X configured lower legs with ring turned spindles and a large ring turned center pedestal and center drop finial. Three of the four swivel casters appear to be original and one appears to be replacement with a brass swivel caster. This circa 1875 table is very well crafted with solid construction and is in excellent antique condtion with only minor wear to the original finish. for auction is a very nice antique mahogany center or parlor table with twin pedestals. this is a large table being 44 inches wide. 30.25 inches deep, and 30 inches tall. it would make a nice focal point in a good size entry foyer. it can be used wherever you might choose and make a statement. the table has very large claw feet which appear to be in near perfect condition. the table is dirty and needs to cleaned, i just wiped a bit of dust off of it to get some pictures. it has a few specks of paint here and there from an expert painter that got more paint on the floor and furniture than he did on the wall. these specks will come off with a little lacquer thinner without issue, i just have not done that as they are not really noticeable. the table is very solid, sturdy, and well built. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at the buyer's ... moreexpense. i can help arrange shipment should that be of interest to anyone. good luck.

This 19th century table has its original turtle shaped beveled edge marble top that is in fantastic antique condition with no cracks or chips. The turtle shaped marble top rests on a conforming apron of rich walnut.And the table is raised up on four cabriole styled legs with a carved X type stretcher with a substantial tiered turned finial at the center, with a drop turned finial below. We can find no breaks or repairs to this table.This early, large table would make a elegant statement in an entry hall or center of a room! BEAUTIFUL TURTLE MARBLE TOP TABLE. THIS TABLE WAS MADE AROUND 1860. TRUE VICTORIAN TABLE NOT A REPRODUCTION. MABLE TOP HAS BEEN REPAIRED THERE IS A CRACK THAT WAS PROFESSIONALLY REPAIRED AS SEEN ON BACK. WHEN FIXED THIS WAY IT IS SAID THAT IT WILL NEVER BREAK IN THIS PLACE AGAIN. Shell Carved Victorian Fancy Walnut Marble Top Parlor Center Lamp Table c1875 Being offered for sale is this Elegant Victorian Renaissance Revival Recessed Oval Marble top Lamp Parlor Table circa 1875. This fine 19th century table features its original beveled edge oval marble top that is recessed into a walnut conforming table apron with gorgeous shell carvings on the apron. A large tiered finial adorns the center of the cross stretcher that joins the shapely carved legs. The marble is positively beautiful with no issues noted. There is a small piece of carving missing on one end of the apron up under the shell carving see close-up picture.nothing major in my opinion and appears to have been missing for a while.This table is solid. Sturdy and is in beautiful antique condition.A splendid period table that offers century old elegance of another ... moreera in time.
