They are a lovely ivory color with black veining. Aged with time. The cluster measures about 12” in length with each"grape" between 1 3/8” to 2" in diameter. It does look like a Dorothy Thorpe however I am not positive. It stands 14" tall and 13" wide at its widest points of the base. Richard Blow Montici Plaque In the Original Frame- 6.375 x 4.625 inches The plaque itself measures 3.75 x 2.125 inches Condition is excellent. With some normal wear on the frame, commensurate with its age. I did not see any chips or repairs to the plaque. I would note only that the eye of the upper left fish is a mother of pearl inlay, and is more reflective in normal light than the photos show. This is an early piece. It was a high end estate sale with awesome brass light fixtures through out the house that were Kashmir made per the owner's children. This had a hand written sticker on it by the owner that stated it was made in Kashmir by fine craftmans. It is brass relief of water lillies in a koy pond. There is lots of intricated cut out and detail done by hand. The brass is framed by a walnut stand in good shape. It is an amazing piece just as art or as a firescreen. Micromosaic Mid 19th Century Dove's Of Pliny Plaque
This mid 19th century micromosaic is absolutely fantastic holding not just style. But class and history! Micromosaics are one of the more popular forms of Grand Tour jewelry. Primarily coming from Italy, they were created by bringing incredibly small glass fragments, or tesserae, together to create highly detailed and equally vibrant imagery. Using hundreds of pieces of tesserae, each being cut from a rod or cane of glass still hot from the flames. Because the pieces of tesserae are so small and almost impossible to see. A microscope was often used to assemble each piece onto the plaque, hence the name"micromosaic" This plaque is depicting the Dove's of Pliny. An image that originally comes from a Roman floor mosaic discovered in 1737 at Hardian's Villa. Tivoli. Mid Century Modern Vtg Brass Hourglass White Sand nautical timer
Vintage mid 1950s? brass hourglass sand timer. It stands about 10" tall with a slender glass middle. White sand flows through easily for about a half hour. I do not know whether it times accurately. The brass is not shined. As some buyers prefer the vintage looking patina. But the piece should easily shine up with brass cleaner if the buyer prefers. There are several small spots on the bottom and top of the bases which look like water spots. I tried to show some in the photos. I am not a metals expert so I do not want to guess what caused them or whether they'll come off. But overall this is a beautiful collector's piece and would look great in a den, office, boat or elsewhere. Elsewhere this same hourglass sells for around $200. Any questions, please ask.

Offered in this auction is a superb and large mid century modern Italian Murano glass gallery tray with Venetian gondola decoration! This stunning piece is 27" handle to handle. The actual tray size is 22" by 18" Condition of the glass is superb and damage free. There are two very minor blemishes on the lower right corner of the mirror. Mentioned for accuracy only, and pictured in the jpgs. The tray weighs 10 pounds unpacked. The raised gallery is constructed of a 3/4" twisted rope of glass with brilliant red interior, as shown in the jpgs. Venini? The glass is carried through to the gilt ormolu handles for a very pleasing overall effect. The body of the tray is etched with a gondola and gondolier, and a group of buildings in the background, etc. Very much nicer in person! Mid 19th Century Carriage Lanterns
A pair of very cool• Carriage lanterns mid 19th century. Each lantern has pull out colored glass. One flat lens that is on the inside has a crack. The outside lens are truly beautiful. Both have the original lanterns on the inside and are in good shape also. The outsides were repainted a very long time ago. They are very cool display pieces. Great patina and a hard to find item. BEAUTIFUL MID CENTURY VINTAGE PRINT WITH ITALIAN PIETRA DURA FRAME
This is a very nicely framed print most likely from Italy and dates to the mid 20th century. There are five different layers of framing to this piece, the outer frame is a black mica type material followed by a brown velvet. Next is the black pietra dura with inlaid floral design on top. The inner part which frames the print has a gold and white matting which is bordered by a square brass frame. This makes for a lovely presentation. There are some minor condition issues so please review the pictures carefully, there is very minor loss in the vine in the pietra dura design. There are also four SEAMS to the pietra dura frame as it is pieced together, they are not damaged. There are also some minor stain to the very bottom of the white matting. Very beautiful. Mid Century wall shelf. The shelf features a faux bamboo, Chippendale design with a gold leaf/gilded finish. The shelf is a dates to the 1960s and is substantial in thickness. The frame is a composite wood, NOT A PLASTIC. SYROCO STYLE. And is identical to many of the Mid Century, Italian mirror frames. There are several jointed/cane sections with a unique, center design. The actual shelf area is located on the lower section of the frame. The piece is in very good condition with only a couple of minor areas of loss to the golf leaf. This is not severe or distracting and it can be resolved. This is a lovely, Chinoiserie shelf. It is not marked, but it is probably Italian made.
