Vintage Italian Alabaster Marble Stone Bunch of Grapes Fruit On Wood. Cluster of grapes that are 14-1/2" long from stem to end of grape- 6" wide and 5-3/4" tall. Largest grape is 1-3/4" diameter- some are 1-5/8" diameter- smallest is 1-1/4" diameter. Grapevine(wood) is 5/8" diameter and 5-1/2" long. Photos will show some wear on bottom of some of the grapes. This bunch of marble grapes expand 15 inches. The grapes measure about 2 inches and have striking veins throughout. Please note the vintage wear as the shellac. I believe, is no longer shiny and will need reconditioning. This was purchased from a family who brought it back from Germany having been stationed there. Also from the pictures, please see the tiny dings on some of the grapes. This has been an excellent accent piece we've positioned on the living room carpet. The natural wooden stem adds to the natural appearance of the grape cluster. We estimate it to weigh between 8 to 10 pounds. It is heavy and will charge shipping accordingly. This is a vintage shabby wood candle sconce for either the table top or the wall(has a hanger on the back) It is solid wood(not particle board) which I've painted in a cheery aqua with a slightly greener drawer front and edges. It is lightly distressed just to give it some character. It is a colonial revival piece that was all seriously dark wood as can be seen in the pictures of the back of the piece and the inside of the drawer and the slot where the drawer goes. It was just too gloomy that way. So I chose a cheery aqua to freshen the piece. I left the black metal candle holder the way it was for some contrast. The back panel has a stamp of the store that sold or made it, but I can't make out the name. The drawer has two white porcelain knobs. I've included a short aqua colored candle that fits nicely in the tiny hurricane glass. ... moreThe candle sconce measures 16" tall x 6" deep(including the knobs) x 9" wide. My mother who passed away in 2010 after nearly 70 years in the antique business. Marie's perfumes were a special place in her collection of antiques and vintage items and are now offered for sale as part of her estate. Description: Antique/Vintage Hand Held Fan- In Original Box With Pink Tassel- Wood- 8 1/2" Length- 13" Diameter. Item is made of wood and fabric. Satin/silk. Item when closed is about 1" in width. Tassels are about 4" length. Case is made of cardboard/paper and glass. Provenance: This set belong to Marie-Louise Fredyma's Antique Shop from 1967-1993 and was purchased in the 1970's probably in southern NH. Item is very good condition both box and fan.
