Vintage Mid Century Bellini Florentine Italian Hand Painted Umbrella Stand Vase
Thank you for looking! This is a really beautiful hand made piece of Italian pottery I believe it is from mid century and it states from Florentine in Italy. It is an Umbrella or Cane stand or even a Giant vase which appears to be in great original condition. Please click on large photo to look at all photos for better description. It has the olive green background with the gold chevrons that look like they are lined on top and bottom with lace. The glaze and colors all look original to me. The one tiny spot when looking at the base that looks like a chip or flea bite is completely painted and glazed over so is original to the item. You cannot see it when upright and it feels smooth also. There are also a couple even smaller spots right at bottom edge. But again they look original and I never noticed till looking at photo of bottom doing ... morethis listing. Nothing that detracts from the item at all. This item was originally sold at the Former Upscale Department Store in Cincinnati Ohio called the H.S Pogue Co that had originally opened in 1878. It has it's original $45.00 price sticker inside and also the original sticker from Bellini Italy and the Hand Painted Sticker also. I am not positive but it seems to be from around the late 50's maybe 60's or so. It is 18"s tall and 8"s in diameter. This is a vintage item so it might have character. This great estate find is a vintage brass tall coat rack. It comes from the estate of a couple who entertained a lot- so I'm sure this was well used. It has wonderful patina. The top swivels. It measures 6' 2" high and the base is 19" across. The center cylinder alone is 5' tall. It is missing 1 bolt(on the top piece- see picture) I will take it apart for shipping. This great estate find is a vintage barber shop brass coat rack. It comes from the estate of a couple who entertained a lot- so I'm sure this was well used. It has wonderful patina. The top swivels. It measures 6' 2" high and the base is 19" across. The center cylinder alone is 5' tall. It is missing 1 bolt(on the top piece- see picture) I will take it apart for shipping.
