Charming vintage oak plant stand. Round top and bottom surfaces are held in place by three gently curved legs. Molded edges accent the shapes of each piece. L-shaped metal brackets sttach the surfaces to the legs and create a strong sturdy piece. Unsure of exact age. But believe this stand dates from the mid 1900's. Overall. The stand is in good condition. However there is some damage to the finish on the top, probably from a leaky plant. There are also some dents and dings to the molding around the top. See pictures. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Italian, wood and brass pedestal plant stand. This stunning, Mid Century stand features a stacked, solid wood top and base. The wood(maybe walnut) is finished with two different, coordinating stains. The top of the stand has a darker, walnut stain and the base features a lighter walnut/pecan stain. The contrast is subtle and striking. Long brass rods/canes connect the base and top. The canes have an orate, scrolled brass accent at the top, just under the base. Toward the lowers sections, they have a"jointed" feature which gives them the look of faux bamboo. The brass canes are paired in sets of 2 at each corner for an interesting look. It measures 44 inches tall x 12 wide square and has a great carved Bamboo look; I believe it constructed of maple. There are no chips. This is a nice vintage plant stand. The center rod is made of wood parts that screw together. The base and round holders are made from resin. Stands 51 inches tall(a little over 4 feet) The holders measure 5 inches in diameter and easily hold 4 inch pots(the size of the ones in photo) It holds 6 pots It is adjustable so you can move the holders where you wish. There is no damage. Just signs of wear like scratches and at the top the wood has been rubbed almost bare. Vintage Midcentury Three Tiered Plant Stand Table Maybe Cedar I think the wood looks like cedar but I could be wrong. It reminds me of the souvenir cedar boxes that were sold up north here. It is 21 3/4" tall. A 12" leg span, and three tiers measuring from top to bottom, 9 1/8" 10 1/4" 11 1/32" in diameter. It may have been handmade by a local furniture maker. I found this in a barn at a local farm sale. The finish is good. It would make a great stand for African Violets. This will be listed one week and then it is going into my occasional sale. Vintage all wood 2 tiered folding stand with intricately handcarved large flower in the middle of top bar. Each shelf is carved with decorative leaves darker than the rest of each shelf. There is a large round indented circle and 2 small circles on each shelf. The side wooden bars are carved also. On the left side facing the stand it looks like the wood above the carving cracked and was glued back together a long time ago and the feet are a little wobbly from age and only need to be reglued.
