Base with“WELCOME” and a pineapple appears to be cast iron painted gold to match the patina of the brass. Solid. Stable and sturdy stand that will make both a great accent décor piece and serve a useful function. Vintage antique look umbrella stand ~ brass metal overlay sectioned top with finials. Cane design wood legs and base with brass feet. Legs are cherry wood stain, base is dark walnut, brass overlay has patina. Condition*stain is worn and nicked in places, a fairly large scratch(not deep) is on the bottom front, the brass has patina and is rubbed/scratched, stand is a tiny bit wobbly as it is light fairly light weight. No dents or notable chips or splits in the wood. It's a pretty piece and would look awesome with some touchup or painted a lacquered red! Measures 24.5 tall x 16 x 8.25" deep.
